I need more videos of what you done with your ST Fiesta i got today the exact same car on a trade is basically new and i want to do this Brushless upgrade 👌
gooed vid m8, i just bought the slash 4x4 bl-2s and it also has the plastic shaft, with your vid it was confirmed that you can also upgrade with the exact same parts to the alu shaft. great work keep it up m8.
Oh man you could have just plugged the black an red wire into ur reciver channel 1 if you have one open that is. Just the 2 wires will connect nicely, thats how mines hooked up.
not sure if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last weeks =)
question how did you tighten the drive shaft. In the video you just flash forward and said perfect but I noticed you hadn't moved the rear spline forward at all. I'm curious because I have the same problem and that is the drive shaft is about an 1/8 to 3/16 too short and creates slop back and forth as you show. With my rally the front spline is not adjustable because of the threaded pin that slides through the front diff shaft, and the back shaft from the diff just isn't long enough to slide the spline forward and still have the grub screw hold it in place effectively.
Sorry this is one of those things it would be nice to see a pic of for further help, the on ours we did have to adjust the placement of the splines to get rig of the extra slack, if you don't figure out reach out on our Instagram and we can probably help further there 👍
I'm fairly new to RC, but I have a Slash 4x4, and my friend has a 2wd. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the chassis on this fiesta looks about identical to the 2wd Slash he has,... ?
The chassis on the rally is the same on the 4wd slash ultimate. The 2wd would usually have the battery in the middle of the chassis and the motor in the back with the gearbox. It is possible that your friend could have a lcg (low center gravity) conversion which would look similar the the one on the rally but still not the same. Hope this helps! 👍
Yeah, you're absolutely right, the location of the battery and motor are more like my 4x4.. I should have realized that when you put the center shaft in.... DUH! But now that you mention it, it does appear to sit a lot lower than my Slash, but I would assume that's all in the suspension setup, and tires? This must be why I noticed so many different variations for mounting locations for the shocks and steering components when I swapped out my A-arms. It's essentially the same car, with a different setup, no?
Essentially but it’s the LCG chassis which is different that what’s on the regular slash it basically just dips down further to stay lower to the ground
No wheelies but it does go fast it's not exactly meant to do wheelies but it is fast! I think recorded speed would be in the 50-60s but has the potential for much more!
Maybe but plastic ones are holding up to full acceleration launches on 4s. I also like how quiet the plastic ones are. If they start to go out I will for sure upgrade to steel driveshafts 👍.
So I’m actually about to buy one of these and put a 3S motor and ESC in it with some drift tires for some Gymkhana drift. Super hyped
Do a video if you achieve it 👌

I'd use a dremel to bore out the vents in the clamp for the fans on your motor, just to make it more effective
Maybe but it’s pretty thin and made as a heat sink I can imagine it would crack if I tried to do that.
@@RCMANIAC-YT hm.
Hey!
I have the snap on body but sane car and was wondering what engine you have in this and does it need mods to fit?
I can’t wait to see how fast that’ll go!

@Brycen Chad Definitely, have been using InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
Go away bots
Pfff wdym I thought they were our biggest fans
Yo i got that same fan yesterday haha just installed it

@@RCMANIAC-YT I have same issue as it is stock and replacing center drive shaft. I will reach out
You don't wanna tighten the drive shaft it's so the chassis can bend and not brake anything
True but you also don't want to much slack or it won't work.
@@RCMANIAC-YT yes true but jumps i have a 3s rally vxl as well and just found this channel
What gearing are you running? I can't find the part where you chose a pinion gear.

cool rc and upgrades
Thanks dude
@@RCMANIAC-YT what gearing are you?
Do you know if Traxxas 7411 clear Rally body fits?
I am rally lover as you ( I think )
What pinion and spur you running? Mine gets hot fast
Great videos
Thanks!
What happened to this car? How fast did it go?
Took a big break from the hobby, cars still around and will make another video on it eventually :)
Whats the fastest you have had it? And does yours wheelie at all?
No wheelies but it does go fast it's not exactly meant to do wheelies but it is fast! I think recorded speed would be in the 50-60s but has the potential for much more!
Was für ein Regler ist das denn?
Can you please link all the parts
Check amain hobbies
Hey can I run a 4s vxl system in my rally
Yep!
I think you need metal driveshafts

what happens with the next video? :(
:(
@@RCMANIAC-YT oh men, hopes you can make it in a future! I am subscribed I will be waiting :)
@@RCMANIAC-YT what does :( mean?
@@RCMANIAC-YT dude you’re one of the only ones that is clear and easy to understand and do good walk throughs! Come back to us!
sorry homie 😭 life got busy i’ve been trying to convince myself
Wow, make all these videos on updating the Rally and never did a run video on it after the motor and esc upgrade, what a waste of RUclips space.
