    this was really informative and quite easy to grasp. i am also the type of person that needs to understand why something works to be able to move on further without any guilt or gap in my knowledge. so, when you explained from the equation of an asymptote comes from, i got so relieved from all the 'this is the equation of an asymptote' and understood why exactly it is so. thank you for your great job. keep up the good work.

    I took up to alg2 and trig in high school and one semester of college algebra which I only passed 1 test with a 70 and the teacher smiled at me since she knew I was trying. I have learned more on youtube than I ever learned in school. I must have been out the day the teacher said to use PEMDAS as a way to sollve algebraic equations! I could never understand why I was not getting the right answer. I simply did not know the order in which to solve the equation. Things are easy when you know how to do it!

    Professor, why in a hyperbola the two axes are switched opposite the ellipse?

    While drawing the asymptotes for hyperbola, we make a box of x-intercept and y-intetcept taking the square roots of denominator terms. When finding the x- intercept,can we put y=0 and solve for X as the y values doesn't affect the hyperbola eauation ?

    Ther is a fixed and proper standard way for conic sections 1,circle straight vertical line drawn on a conics 2,Elipse from the point of circle from the center of cone vertics either up or down without exiding the bottom of cone 3, parabola the line should be parrelel to the center of cone vertics line should be within in the cone,.4, hyperpola line drawn from cone can be parrelel to the side of the cone vertics point of view.it will drawn beyond the cone. May be like that.

    Are you sure you will do a series of exponential and logarithms?

  • @kabouch
    @kabouch 4 года назад

    I have made a correlation: the asymptotes of the hyperbola were previously referred to as slants or obliques while studying rational expressions. Their rule was that the degree of the nominator has to be greater than that of the dominator by one, and its equation was the resultant linear equation of dividing the nominator by the dominator.

    Why no body wants to derive why c square= a square+b square? I know why in ellipse it's different but in hyperbola, no one explains

      I cannot comprehend your exact reason for clarifying or even mentioning this nor can I exactly extrapolate your sentence to anything certain. Are you trying to undermine the people's skills who are able to do this or are you just showing signs of euphoria that you can do this specific type of action in a specific criteria you have just created instinctively or voluntarily? The exclamation mark at the end of the sentence doesn't help either.
