this was really informative and quite easy to grasp. i am also the type of person that needs to understand why something works to be able to move on further without any guilt or gap in my knowledge. so, when you explained from the equation of an asymptote comes from, i got so relieved from all the 'this is the equation of an asymptote' and understood why exactly it is so. thank you for your great job. keep up the good work.
I took up to alg2 and trig in high school and one semester of college algebra which I only passed 1 test with a 70 and the teacher smiled at me since she knew I was trying. I have learned more on youtube than I ever learned in school. I must have been out the day the teacher said to use PEMDAS as a way to sollve algebraic equations! I could never understand why I was not getting the right answer. I simply did not know the order in which to solve the equation. Things are easy when you know how to do it!
While drawing the asymptotes for hyperbola, we make a box of x-intercept and y-intetcept taking the square roots of denominator terms. When finding the x- intercept, can we put y=0 and solve for X as the y values doesn't affect the hyperbola eauation ?
Ther is a fixed and proper standard way for conic sections 1,circle straight vertical line drawn on a conics 2,Elipse from the point of circle from the center of cone vertics either up or down without exiding the bottom of cone 3, parabola the line should be parrelel to the center of cone vertics line should be within in the cone,.4, hyperpola line drawn from cone can be parrelel to the side of the cone vertics point of view.it will drawn beyond the cone. May be like that.
I have made a correlation: the asymptotes of the hyperbola were previously referred to as slants or obliques while studying rational expressions. Their rule was that the degree of the nominator has to be greater than that of the dominator by one, and its equation was the resultant linear equation of dividing the nominator by the dominator.
I cannot comprehend your exact reason for clarifying or even mentioning this nor can I exactly extrapolate your sentence to anything certain. Are you trying to undermine the people's skills who are able to do this or are you just showing signs of euphoria that you can do this specific type of action in a specific criteria you have just created instinctively or voluntarily? The exclamation mark at the end of the sentence doesn't help either.
The mathematician at his very best. Fluid, passionate, and skilled at his art.
Absolutely best teacher I have seen.
A very perfect lesson thank you. I have been teaching myself math and I can't say enough how awesome this is.

Thanks, after 25 years i had a chance to learn and understand asymptotes and hyperbolas.
I really like your tutorials. You've taken maths to another level🙌
Mr Jason is a really brilliant teacher. I wish you were my teacher at high school or college, where I am now

How can I watch the private videos?
haya,,thanks for all your work,, totally appreciate it.. i just noticed the remaining of this playlist is private
Your videos are workin for me king!
Glad to hear it!
You are amazing ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you, sire. Respect from 🇮🇳
The great tutor
How do you go to the login key to math and science?
Professor, why in a hyperbola the two axes are switched opposite the ellipse?

sir what type of camera you have on this slecture?
THANK YOU...
SO MUCH SIR...!!!
thank you so much sir
Fantastic bro
Jason do you do any type of private tutoring
Can you cover the concept of logarithms and exponentials, please?
Yes next year I will do an extensive series on exponential sand logarithms. Thank you!
@@MathAndScience no you won’t
Thank you, sir.
Finally I came to know about hyperbola!
Thank you so much!

Thank you sir
Thanks for this it's really helpful
So happy you liked it!

Are you sure you will do a series of exponential and logarithms?
Hahahahaha

hi love your video, can i ask a math related question please?
wow! Just wow! :)))
why are there no f1 and f2 point in a hyperbolic ?nice lessons btw.
Actually hyperbolas do have Foci (F1 and F2). Please view the lesson and you will see me talk about hyperbola focus.
Why no body wants to derive why c square= a square+b square? I know why in ellipse it's different but in hyperbola, no one explains
its really helpful but this video is the long duration
I like its tutor of mathes

Thank you sir gid bless u
Where is the point a,and b, where it is inthe hyperpola or is it number first explain this.
جزاك اللهُ
I do this in my head!

You guess right I got it wrong. Y must be negative if vertical
Best
nice
