@@primetimemonkyhours743 That’s the point. Mr negative barely knew spider-man as a person but he knew Peter very well. He’s saying Miles reminds him of Peter

I don't get how more people are glossing over this scene. It basically confirms Li knew who Spider-Man was the minute he fought miles, he learned who miles was . But if you play the first game he might've known even then because when you're trying to fight him on the giant truck destroying New York, he tells Peter he'll unmask him and reveal his identity to the entire world, I almost thought maybe he knew then but I believe he found out his identity when Peter went snooping in his office and secret room which one room was inaccessible to people other than Li.
Everyone praising Li for redemption and he deserves it, but the fact that Peter was pretty much taken over by the symbiote and still wanted Li safe after learning of his good intentions is impressive on Peter's part.
Peter’s morals were still there, but the Symbiote was slowly burying them. The second they’re completely gone, Peter would have grown a mouth full of teeth.

He was the one villain I rooted for in the first game
Was not expecting Mr. Negative to get such a fantastic and actually believable redemption arc.
I like the part where he is looking at feast fondly. As he said, he left the best parts of himself there. Feast is where he truly did act to help at. It's the place Martin Li did good from, in a city that Mr Negative wrecked.
What I love here is how the roles have flipped and that the Villian is looking for redemption and the Hero is on a path of darkness.
This scene gives me the feels. Dammit Bully Parker

Makes you wonder how differently the Kraven fight would’ve played out if Mister Negative was on Spider-man’s side during the fight, they would’ve been destroyed easily
this game is so conflciting. moemnts like this which are just brilliant. the ending of the mysterio side quest. the final final scene of the game between peter, miles and MJ. they just make me smile and felt like a huge evolution over the writing in the first game. but also, some parts are just so rushed and/or just really underdeveloped. I couldnt buy harry and Peter's friendship breaking over literally 1 conversation and implied phone calls. I coudlnt at all buy Venom's shared hatred (shared between Harry and symbiote) of Peter because there is no hatred. The final battle coudlnt at all reach the peak of the ock-peter fight. which is weird cause the earlier boss fights between peter and kraven and miles and peter back to back were much more climatic and emotional than the final battle

@@VladAlucardTepesthe3rd but thats all it is. it makes for a cool tiktok video but honestly just felt empty emotionally. trust me, in 5 years, you will forget 90% of the details of any story that you read or expereience. you only remember how it felt. and i felt it was very shallow and a missed opportunity

Peter doesn’t get to be mad at Li. He’s the one who said Norman deserved “true justice” but made no attempt to implicate Norman in the death of Li’s parents when MJ found evidence of it.

@@blippy5976In the first game I don't think he knew. He attacked Peter with the civilians because he discovered his secret, not because he knew Peter was following him. Also, Peter was at the Osborn rally and Mr negative knew that but later on he states that Spider-man never came so i don't know where you got he knew he was Spiderman.

I did not like how hard they nerfed Pete in this game to push Miles but 0:47 genuinely made me choke up in my first play through. It definitely seems like something Rhino or Sandman in the comics would say
