I watch this video almost everyday and I still don't understand how he didn't win over phillp. The judges stood up from him every time after he performed. His voice his so amazing and strong. I think even Phillip was surprised, by the look on his face, that his name was called. And J-Lo looks really conflicted. You can tell she feels bad that a guy with all the talent in the world is overlooked by the masses, but at the same time, that's what made her famous as a singer. It's about marketability more than talent sometimes.
Good singers can bring out that emotion of joy,sadness,happiness,peace,enjoyment in 3 minutes. When its felt altogether It can sometimes take your breath away. Joshua Ledet does that.

Joshua Ledet should've made the top 2 with Jessica Sanchez instead of Phillip Phillips. I would've accepted Jessica coming in second place if Joshua won. Phillip is a copycat of Dave Matthews, Mumford & Sons, John Mayer, and Damien Rice, and he shouldn't have made the top 3 in the first place. If Joshua and Jessica were the top 2, it would've been an epic finale and a tough decision for America, and the vote would've been too close to call.

But he is still a great artist and can still make it if he simply edges the best in the field. Remember, it takes a lot of skill to 'steal' someone's else's followers without them realizing that they have cut their ties and are supporting someone else!
