Stop talking and listen to the music for god sake
Exactly. I realise it’s a reaction but surely you can’t even be listening to it properly with all that talking.
I always say, If you’re talking, you’re not listening. It ruins their credibility.
Typical of many of this shit show of a generation.
Unwatchable. Four people constantly talking over each other is not a reaction to the music, it's a rejection of it.
I 100% agree with you, good Sir....
I'm agree with you.
Total disappointment 👎
@@65alef I watched long enough to watch it to see they were not going to pay much(if any) attention and instead just going to keep rambling on and on and on....
It would be better if 8 people were talking over the music, a crying baby & an asshole cat meowing for food but every time you give it food it isn’t happy so it keeps meowing louder. That would be great these guys are really missing the point.
HAL is the best part of this video.
Alan Parson is who engineered this album and also brought in Claire Torey.
She was awesome
pink floyd grabs your soul and takes you on a journey, best and only band to perform this method. Absolutely Timeless 💯
although Pink Floyd aren't my favourite band (I do love them)... they made the single greatest album from start to finish in my opinion - Animals, untouchable genius
Respect & Peace
I agree as no other piece of music has ever told such a vivid picture as Animals did, at least not in my opinion anyhow....
1st off, fuck Putin, 2nd, you are bang on with Animals. Knowing Marco ‘loves’ Pink Floyd (turns out just dark side of the moon really), I asked him about Animals. Floyd was the soundtrack to my baby/toddler years, I know them too well because they creeped me out (along with the soundtrack vinyl of planet of the apes & the fucking old Dr Who theme which is prob still the worst for me, followed by M.A.S.H themes). So I was going to play songs from animals for a pink Floyd episode because I feel it’s the Floyd album of that era that gets no respect. I was going to play Pigs, Dogs, & Sheep, would have been a long episode.
You’ve suggested a tonne of songs my friend, if you can give me one song, any artist (& maybe a link depending) we will record it tomorrow.
Cheers
@@AMVryan I love the M.A.S.H. theme, i used to watch that show with my dad every week. I would love to see the guys react to Leprous, a Norwegian band. Their song Rewind is an absolute belter. If you were talking about one song from Floyd then it would have to be Dogs
Respect & Peace.
p.s. Fuck Putin with a redhot poker
@@AMVryan actually, forget Leprous. I reckon it's time to introduce the guys to the man that Jimi Hendrix reckoned was the best guitarist on the planet, my country's very own... Rory Gallagher. Songs: I'm Not Awake Yet, Daughter Of The Everglades, Shadow Play... all good tunes to start with 😎🙄🇮🇪
Respect & Peace
P.s fuck putin again
@@DavidDArcy1975 recorded some Rory today. Boys liked it, we’ll be releasing some one off songs mid weekdays soon I’ll let ya know when.
It was the suicide is painless lyrics that creeped me out about MASH, especially because they weren’t in the tv show, but still there, unspoken.
"The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older.
One day shorter of breath, and closer to death."
And they talked over it.
I looked for another reaction a that point.
Marco thank you for quieting the guys down to listen. I get you’re gonna have commentary and you should. When it comes to this album it’s all about atmosphere and getting “lost in the sauce”. Almost going into a trance like Juan mentioned with or without drugs the music is just that good. I’m going to agree with Marco that this is my pick for greatest album of all time. One thing though Juan saying they’ve listened to some shit bands and Pink Floyd is great is a bit off. Currently you’re listening to arguably Floyd’s magnum opus while the other bands you listened to a lot of their minor to lesser known songs. P.S. could do without the Hal 9000 voice.
That's what I came here to say. I was really annoyed watching these people claim to be listening while they're talking through the entire thing.
Is marco the fat one?
Marco spoke over the beautiful time lyrics
Just get rid the f the white shirt guy all together. He seems like a total douche
This album has been part of my life for over 45 years.
No one on this video listened to the words and only part of the music?
Fun fact.. They originally recorded this in 5:1 but released it as stereo for radio play.
**That would be 5::1 in 1973....**
Mi avete ucciso !
Un autentico fan dei mitici Pink Floyd non può tollerare tanto.
Ma stare zitti , ascoltare attentamente e poi commentare dopo no?
Sareste ammirabili per aver apprezzato questo album unico al mondo ma quel continuo parlare sopra alle tracce è un'autentica mancanza di rispetto .
Insopportabili
Completamente d'accordo con te.
Ne hanno fatto una strage
They in a one of a kind band, I went to sleep every nite listening to this when I was stationed in Korea in 74-75
I couldn't believe no one thought to keep the album cover in the damn room with them as a reference.
The metronome in the back is actually Roger Waters (the bassist) just picking one of his strings again and again
NEVER TALK WHEN A PINK FLOYD ALBUM IS PLAYING!
Nobody pointed it out, but the part of Time starting around 18:00 is actually a continuation of Breathe, the second track
Guy in white needs to shut the mouth down.
This album on a audiophile quality stereo is heaven!!
These guys seem to think you should talk talk talk as if they're reacting to game play. Not how music works.
Also, I doubt 3 people represent all of Gen Z. Plenty of people their age have better minds for music.
And not to mention a much longer attention span....
It’s impossible for 2 people to represent a whole generation, so yes you’re right 😂
@@ZyteEntertainment Gen-Z Reacts to...
Nothing like having a friend that tells you what is about to happen in a movie. As PF says, let it breathe.
Time is the best song made. Ever. You guys needed to listen to the words...they are timeless 😉 btw the song after time she did in one take...they asked her to sing about life and death vocally and she nailed it
This album was recorded in full quadraphonic. Hard to set up nowadays but those sound effects often panned front to back as well as side to side.
The Greatest band ever..
Her name is Claire Torey
Clare Torry...please 😎
@@65alef that is correct. I just went with my keyboard and didn't pay attention
..you guys are why I don't view "group" reacts, obnoxious comments
Heaven on plastic
Respect & Peace
Thanks guys for the experience for the millionth time in my life!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 My uncle said he played this record for me when I was just 3 months old back in 1975 lol How bout sum Cheech and Chong ? 🤪🤪🤪
Thanks for the new content. Floyd is amazing. Whats with the robot voice? TBH it was hard for me to understand what you said. But great video guys. Can't wait for the next half
_¥ou lost me guys. Too much talk
In nearly 50 years, we have gone from 12-inch vinyl albums to various digital formats.
But this is not the only change to have affected "the music industry".
The music listener also seems to have changed, unable to listen without speaking above the music, and indifferent to the message of the lyrics.
No wonder today's music has become a soulless, industrialized, mass consumer product.
It's become unfortunate for the few artists who still work seriously to produce quality music and lyrics.
it’s not that deep bro it’s a reaction video, they’re supposed to talk about their thoughts
Gen Z. Doesn’t have the attention span to listen to a song without blabbering nonsense over top of it.
Guys, there are 11 tracks on the album. "Time" ends when he says the song is over and has nothing else to say. And Clare Torry sings only on "Great Gig". The backing vocals are provided by four ladies who are great singers in their own right. Like The Floyd would have anyone less.
Is this their thing, where they put a record on, then proceed to incessantly blabber throughout it?
Nope, we don’t have a thing, flying blind, having fun, listening to tunes.
My favorite album forever it's a ticket to peace not to mention the fucking robot talking in the top left corner
And then you've got "Wish You Were Here" & "The Wall".... it was just sooooo tough back in the 70's.... Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rush..... Can you imagine life without Justin Bieber 🤣🤣🤣
Entertaining but discussing Dark Side of the Moon without taking note of the lyrics is to my mind, kind of blasphemous, particularly concerning Time.
When's part # 2 coming? I think you should also go through the Pink Floyd record and the masterpiece Wish you were here. My personal favorite, especially the momentary song Shine on your crazy diamond. A mythological story, which should be told in connection with the song. Then this one has something to do with Pink Floyd's soul, and their former this band member Syd Barett, who was a shining star, who disappeared into a fog of psychedelic drugs and madness. The band met him in the studio, in connection with the recording, when Syd came unannounced, they had not seen him in 6 years.
Comments!
#GAOAT
Want to be blown away, listen to “The Wall,” next. The guys will be like, “two records?” That’ll be like a movie!
Yap Yap Yap Shut Up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you love instrumentalists you should definitely give Steve Vai - Whispering a Prayer. Any live version is recommended.
Its so incredible we are going to make it the best you can hear it then ruin it.
I understand the point is you're supposed to be Gen-Z. but you don't know what a record is? Jesus.....
WALMART is selling turntables and RECORDS!
People nowadays just don't know how to listen. The attention span of gnats...
Sorry, too much talking.
Do the wall
Hi guys, greetings from the Netherlands. Remember my Nightwish recommendation? Almost 4 months ago, you told me that you had a plan and a reaction was coming. Any new developments since then?
You guys could stop talking during the reaction, specially the guy in the white t-shirt asking questions and interrupting. Otherwise it loses a lot of credibility and it seems you’re not getting quite into it.
Good album but, in my opinion, the best album of all times is Close To The Edge by Yes.
Alan Parsons Project, I Robot... Another great concept album.
There was a time for a few bucks more you could buy "masters" of some albums I have the master of this you think sound quality is good here better on the master.
Too much idle chat, no one is getting the pointv at all!
Too much talking, not enough listening!
How tf r they djs n producers n shit n never heard this
😂
Far too much talking. I don’t think these guys were hearing the music. Go back and listen to the album in a quiet room at full volume guys. Need to do this album justice.
There is only one track on this and other Floyd albums. These are not songs. The album is a masterpiece.
YOURE MISSING LEGENDARY LYRICS BY TALKING OVER THEM.
They talk too much... they lost the meaning of it.
Had to move on, can't enjoy the music with you guys talking all the way through it!
It’s not a metronome it’s Roger waters making the clock ticking sound on his bass. It’s noteworthy that both dark side, and its follow up “wish you were here” both hit number #1 on both sides of the Atlantic. I am not sure that’s ever happened again.
listen again but close your eyes and stop talking
HASH was the BEST!!
Way too much talking!
Is the older guy blind?
More talking than music...no thanks!
Ahhhhh. In time you missed all the amazing lyrics and message that you could learn from. You stomped all over it talking. Perhaps you aren’t familiar with music as message.
Why don’t you talk through the whole thing?
Nice job guys. Yeah once you drop that needle down on the vinyl, you're in for the long haul. No such thing as pausing and skipping and backing it up. Unless you physically lift the arm up and look for the groove where the next tune should start. That usually took two or three tries (sober) lol. And then you run the risk of scratching the record with the needle and creating more noise and pops. This is why Pink Floyd worked so well in this format. Those grooves for the most part did not exist. It was just one long flow. Prolly why a lot of us old geezers get so annoyed when youngsters who react to them on here pause, go, pause, go, backup, go, through Pink Floyd music. Growing up on vinyl, our brains just aren't wired to hear them that way. It's like nails on a chalkboard for a lot us. Not to mention it tends to destroy the utterly unique vibe/atmosphere Floyd worked so hard to create in each and every album. Anyway, great reaction. Got a little chatty over some of the best parts but I suppose I can understand. Your being introduced to such brilliance musically and sonically for the very first time, and the new *old* technology all at once. Must be a little overwhelming. But try and tone down the group discussion til after you're done. Otherwise you miss so much. Welcome to the timeless allure that is Pink Floyd. Looking forward to part 2!!
Oh and shout out to The Wizard of Oz guy. Yep, that was a thing.
Ya all talk too much haha
Les gars,désolé,mais vous parlez trop et pire votre voix est plus haute que la musique.À corriger merci.
