Time signature on Money is 7/4 for the bulk of the song and goes into 4/4 for the guitar solo

I'm very happy, because you guys appreciate how good they are, and noticed how incredible this album sounds. If you end up becoming a big fan, then you will enjoy some other albums of theirs probably even more.
The best thing to do after listening to the Dark Side of The Moon, is to listen to Wish You Were Here, then Animals, and then The Wall.
They're all brilliant.
*If you're a fan of the scratchy vinyl, then you should check out the band "Portishead" You can listen to it on CD, or streaming services, and it still sounds like ....scratchy vinyl.

Great episode. Very cool seeing your reaction to vinyl I grew up with vinyl and fridge sized speakers and when we cranked up the tunes you could hear it for blocks. And no one touched the record player when Floyd was on
Dark Side of the Moon actually doesnt match up with Wizard of Oz intentionally. There are moments when it does tho. That being said ECHOES does match up to the last segment of 2001 A Space Odyssey during the Jupiter and Beyond the Infinate. The track of Echoes in its entirety and Jupiter and Beyond the Infinate are EXACTLY the same length down too the second. When you watch it soo many of the sounds match what is going on on the screen. It was said that Stanley Kubrick wanted to use Atom Heart Mother suite to put to the score but Roger I believe told him no as they didn't get along. 2 years after 2001 comes out, the album Meddle comes out with the song Echoes. If you know how to sync Echoes up right with the last section of 2001 its a pretty amazing piece of film and music to check out. So true. Fans of the group don't need to listen to the song again. we know the music, we own the music, we've heard it almost at nauseam over decades. It's about watching and enjoying new and fresh reactions to the music. One that you cannot get when you're running your mouth through the whole thing like these guys are doing, and/or pausing every 3 seconds. Good reactors understand this. Bad ones don't and totally misunderstand what drives an audience to their channel.

It ended with the same heart beat as it started but with a voice saying:-
"there is no dark side of the Moon really, matter of fact its all dark"
However that's the bit they put on the vinyl. The actual voice went on to say:-
"the only thing that makes it light is the sun"
There are some re-mastered versions that have added this back on the end.
It was originally thought to be "too upbeat" 😉
You guys need to do "The Wall"
You can also tape a dime or a penny (depending on weight needed) to the back of the stylus head, to keep it from skipping.
