    I like the truck setup. Nice to be able to just hop in and head out with all your gear already packed up. Nice finds as well. Looked like a decent trip.

    Trent got a question been shed hunting in Northern Az came across I big shed and been trying to find other side. How far have you found the other side to match up. No one else has been in area. Been gridding whole area just looking for tips. Awesome find.

    • @RogueOutdoorsmen
      @RogueOutdoorsmen  Год назад

      They can be as far as 2 miles apart unfortunately. Just have to keep your tracks on and grid out in certain sections at a time. Try to follow tracks both ways if they are visible. It seems like the big bulls should drop close but that is not always the case. Good luck.

    How the hell are you so lucky always to find the side by side sets? Lol. Did you draw a elk tag this year?

    • @RogueOutdoorsmen
      @RogueOutdoorsmen  Год назад +2

      I've had more side by sets this year than a few previous years combined. Usually if the elk are left alone and there is no pressure and the snow is deeper, they tend to move around less. Yes, I drew a muzzy tag in one of my favorite units. Should be a fun hunt.

    • @alvinfigueroa2396
      @alvinfigueroa2396 Год назад +2

      @@RogueOutdoorsmen All the snow this year kind of push the elk into weird spots..

    • @RogueOutdoorsmen
      @RogueOutdoorsmen  Год назад +2

      @@alvinfigueroa2396 that is true of the high elevation bulls. It would have pushed the 9000-8500 bulls down. The south slopes will be key in the high elevation areas. The low country bulls don’t really be bothered. They might be able to move from the normal spots because of the extra water around.

    • @alvinfigueroa2396
      @alvinfigueroa2396 Год назад

      @Rogue Outdoorsmen lot of the roads are still closed were we normally go. We have went into new grounds. Still hard walking. Walking in mud. We have been seeing lots of cows so far. Signs everywhere. Just haven't hit that pocket yet.

    • @RogueOutdoorsmen
      @RogueOutdoorsmen  Год назад +1

      We find plenty of small ones, in this particular unit, there are a lot of smaller bulls. It's always the bigger sheds or sets we are after.

    • @bigdad0702
      @bigdad0702 Год назад

      @Rogue Outdoorsmen I understand when I lived there it was always awesome to find a big shed but just the sound of your voice is almost like your wasting your time when you find a small one lol....I never cared how big or small just being out there was all that mattered
