    I spent around 150k everyday for almost a year when i start moving out on my own .At that point i doesnt know / too busy to cook for myself so i only eat outside .

    • @silas-brown
      @silas-brown  Месяц назад

      Ok, that sound right to me 👍 If I only eat local food I could easily only spend 150k in a normal day.
      If I am traveling around all the time then it gets much more expensive.

    silas, you tip the store clerk 2k vnd which is 8 cents. you wouldnt do that in your country, so why do that in vietnam? they probably think you weird for doing that. generally, don't type for that or for food unless it's for services such as massages, hai,r nail, etc. i just want to bring to your attention. have a great trip in VN.

    • @silas-brown
      @silas-brown  Месяц назад

      Yeah, you make a good point. I think I did it because of the $10 challenge, I felt like I needed to get rid of all the money for the challenge to finish.
      Its not something I would normally do.
      Thanks for bringing it up 👍

      @@silas-brownits not weird giving out the changes to cashiers.. we all do that when go shopping at convenient stores or supermarkets. like sometimes we give them 5k vnd and they have to give us back 2k 3kvnd in change.. and we said oh its fine, keep it. Anw, not disrespecting in any manners, i enjoyed your video and surprised you did good with the budget. Danang is my hometown so im little bias hehee

      Hi @@ChloeVloggie, that's interesting. Thanks for providing another perspective on this. I'm glad it wasn't the wrong thing for me to do. And its also interesting to hear your perspective on the budget. Would you say that would be the normal amount (200,000) that local people might spend in a day, more or less? I love your home town, such a great city 👍

      true but also you have to remember the average salary is very low. Using the average hourly rate for this region that could represent 20 to 30 minutes of pay. Getting tipped 5 dollars (equivalent if on 15 dollars an hour) wouldn't be the worst
