Hello Courtney, i hope you're fine. Can i know if i work in rounds, are the first and last single crochet still work them under both loops? and which way is the best to start a new round, slip stitch and begin or work it in spiral? I want to crochet a birthday gift a purse to my sister.
You do not work the traditional sc when working in the round. You only work the repeat stitches for each row. I have a few in the round tutorials that show the slip stitch join up close. Do not work in a spiral it will throw off the design. @@FiberFoxStudios I've finish the purse thanks alot for your help, i had one problem attaching the zipper🥲 before the zipper it was flat and nice, please tell me if i can use the method of Tinna Thorudottir of embrodery stitches on the zipper then begin crocheting with your pattern and if i did that should i begin the pattern from the last line and up to the first or not, because i think if i use her method with your pattern i will upside down the pattern😭😭😭 please help me and i am sorry for bothering
I have playlist/video linked in the description that covers your options on the ends. You definitely don't want to just cut then off as your work could unravel.

Hi! Thank you so much for giving me your starting chain info, 172 is correct, for starting chain, you will have 171 stitches at the end of row 1. You have 3 missing/skipped stitches as you should only have 2. So there are a few things that you can check. First let's check your repeat Row 3 is: 1sc, 1dc, 3sc, 1dc, 3sc, 1dc, 3sc, 1dc this is 14 stitches total. So check and make sure you didn't miss one of those stitches a few times. The other common issue is accidently working your next stitch in to the same stitch that is taken up by a DC. So you will want to check and make sure that there is a un-worked SC behind each DC . You can definitely use that method on this one. For most of my patterns it will not matter that you are working top down. Hope this helps!
