Hi, I've had my helix for a while now but i'm just realizing that not using IRs has seriously been holding me back. As someone who likes to play a lot of prog and jazz fusion (rush, yes, alan holdsworth, al di meola), as well as some modern metal (animals as leaders, nile) do you think this would be the best pack to go with or do you suggest another? I'd probably be spending most of my time in the clean to mid-gain areas. I've been seeing OwnHammer in forums for years and after watching some of your videos I definitely want to support you guys. Thanks in advance!
If you plan to use these IR's live through a PA during a performance, would you suggest disregarding whether it's low/mid/high gain and just using Live Sound instead?
Anyone knows if those IRs works also with pod go? i see 2048 samples and pod go only have 1024, i don't know the difference and i am worried that some of those may not work with my device. Thanks
OK, well i bought it and in case anyone in my situation has my same question i want to say that everything works just perfectly, the customer service has been awesome and the product just let me speechless. Every single IR sounds really good, they are all very well balanced so you don't have to play too much with your eq while trying different cabs, it's way better than i expected to be honest. I had few amp models that i liked on the POD-GO and now there's not a single sound coupled with WH that i wouldn't use for something. I feel very satisfied and i suggest this pack to everyone, it's just amazing and it sounds great for any situation and genere.
You guys should get with Line 6 and tell them to make it clearer on their website on how to download your ir's after they have been purchased. They send an email receipt with no instructions on how to obtain what you just bought. Will it be sent in the mail? Will I get another email with a link to download it? Fricking nothing! It's ridiculous to expect people to go searching for instructions like this. Line 6 never answered my emails nor did they answer their phone when I tried to call them. I will never buy a Line 6 product again because of this.
