Despite this looking really cool, it sucks that you dont see any effect really for grip turning until after the fact that you performed a grip turn. It would be cool to see a clean sleek neon trail coming from the tires.
What mod did you use to turn off the effects?
@@muhammadrameezfareed5138 but it says in the description its a "3rd party tool" and right now there's no way to turn off all the effects.
@@muhammadrameezfareed5138 its not an option its a third party tool lol, there is no option to turn these effects off
should have been a standard feature ingame, dont get me wrong the cartoony effect is quite cool but gets annoying quite fast imo
I don’t mind the effects, I just wish they could be turned off in the settings.
this game is so gorgeous man, they did a hell of a job on this one.
Yes sir I am so glad nfs is back in full glory. Fantastic game
its graphically worse than NFS 2015, check your eye sight
What is wrong with you
@@Mentalex0 nah man that's you 2015 looks generic its only night, constant rain and mute colors. Meanwhile unbound has a semi-day&night cycle with day time looking beautiful every moment and night being more appealing than 2015. While also having its own art style to separate from the rest when 2015 didn't have one. Criterion knows how to make a game look good just take a look at HP(2010) and MW12 they still look like they came out this year but are a decade old same with burnout's art style still keeping those games from not looking old and dated.
The only thing I don't like is the physics rely on weird drifting too much or maybe thats just me
2:39 beep beep
road runner show
i kinda like the comic style effects in unbound, but without the effects its still look epic
The people calling these effects, the characters, and artstyle "anime" sound so unbelievably stupid to me, nothing about it resembles anime they have some decals and shirts that are anime related but that's literally it lmao. The game's reflections and lighting are far too good for me to not play this game the decals on wraps also aren't pixels anymore.
That "beep" sound XD
XD
I wish you could take the effects off completely. It looks so much cleaner
I’m head over heels for the visual effects tbh but I’m a firm believer people should be able to customize their individual experiences to their liking. Even tho I think it takes the games personality away 😂
At first I hated this effect but after sometime I started to love it. It's so different and it kinda feels cool for me with that effects.
Only the burnout effect that I don't really like that much. But it's fine I don't hate it either.
With or without I'm fine with it.
6 months in and still no update to let us fully remove… I think the game would be very popular if they let us remove it
Wish it was an option to turn all effects off so you see none at all even from other cars
I really hope they patch this in the game! Love it without effects.
Sometimes the effects are good sometimes not. If the smoke trails were simulated or just didnt cut off so quickly like that it would have been cool.
So much better without the goofy looking effects clogging the screen. Too bad modded Most Wanted 05 takes up all my playtime. Never touched Unbound and never will thanks to that.
You can turn them off for like 8 month now
They definitely should have a option too turn it off but I really do like the art style and y’all should really try it. It’s honestly not that overbearing as y’all think
not as over bearing as we think ? We are all literally looking at the same video it would be the same if we played the game 😭
@@tylercouture216 nah, the difference is watching a video you fixate on it because you can. Playing the game you are more focused on not hitting shit and holding a clean line and the effects become a minor periphery thing not the center of attention.
So, false. If you haven't put actual hands on time with the game and only base your experience off videos then you are missing 80% of the experience and are forming an opinion without all the data.
@@FullBitGamer damn I literally made this comment to someone else
It's sad that some people in corporate world are at so high position with so dumb and unworthy mindset that their some main decisions affects many people.
im wierd i like the effects, its nice to have a racing game that isnt the same thing visually as every other racing gaming in the last ten years that takes places in a "realistic setting" i also think its adds contrast to some of the darker areas in the city as a sort of graffiti if you will, and also fits the brighter areas, since many of those areas have very vibrant colors and good foliage.
One of the later nvidia "hotfix" drivers turned some of these clouds (even for a 30-series) into triangle messes
The idea of an on/off switch for the effects would be a welcome addition
Bro the "pib pib" of ASAP Rocky
People be hating on these effects but it reminds me of some old ps2 racing game. It feels so good when you get a full burst nitro and you activate it. The short cut out of the sound and then in an instant you get catapulted. I love it
be beep... beep be beep
So annoying
2:19 man i dont like modern NFS physics, but the sense of speed is insane, forza doesn't even come close when it comes to feeling speed
i dont shit on the effects at all, i think they are actually pretty fucking cool, cmon people start liking new ideas instead of shitting on them, das why we aint getting any good games because people keep on hatin everything
People have preferences, how about accepting them? Not everyone is a fan of these effects.
Good to see there's a option to toggle off the cartoon animations which greatly cheapen the experience in my opinion as a veteran "NFS" fan.
see video description
Man those non-smoke effects look so cool
I understand why people wouldnt want the effects turned on, but it immerses you so much more and really adds to the vibe of the game, and theyre beautiful
Some dude said "The only reason NFS Unbound has those ugly cartoon effects is to make it different from the last 3 games" on another video.
And I agree with him! 👍
What's the tool?
shit it looks clean af
Not buying nfs until they drop underground 3 I feel like this “unbound” was either a test for money or a slap in the face to OGs. Either way i guess I’ll just keep waiting.
bee bee
For me the choice is obvious, OFF all the way never to be turned on again! The game looks 3000% better without those shitty childish draws everywhere; hope they add this option asap!
With those effects on, I feel like an anime fan driving a car. Without those effects, I feel like a normal person
i like the effects, they give all sorts of contextual clues that help your driving and they look nice. nfs was never supposed to be a realistic game
Its just childish… zoomer game
@@Robin-ub7yd i'm 31 and i'm having a blast, it brings me back to the feeling i got playing most wanted back in 2005
Yall complain about absolutely everything and you wonder why video games are dull and have no soul to them nowadays. nfs is and will always be a arcade racing game.
Arcade and childish are not the same. Those effects are childish.
@@bolsahuecajust turn them off
@@bolsahuecaI honestly think they’re not that bad
The effect making me not want to buy this game but I’m hearing that you can turn it off
bi bi ??
habibi?
Completely breaks any form of immersion with those goofy ahh effects lol. Terrible design idea
Finally! Can't wait to get this mod. Although the effects have quality to them, i don't like them taking up screen space. It's quite distracting.
Bibi!
beeee bee bee beee
Imo the best for it is probably having a "Low" option since some effects feel like they cover too much
beep beep
Those graphic "effects" made for fortnite kids really destroy the whole game 😂
It was literally inspired by games like Auto Modellista, NFS Prostreet and NFS Nitro all of which came out before 2010
@@P_D-px6ivI don’t really mind these effects too much, tbh
Wow, just wow. I've seen this game without effects before but I had no idead they didn't even bother making regular, high-quality smoke effects in the game. No wonder Digital Foundry was so positive about the graphics of it. They utilized the performance gain on other areas it seems.
beep beep LMAO
Muito booom !!!!!
