this is the first samsung tablet i can honestly say im impressed with. i love the new ui and the direction their going. its a very welcomed change
The menu button is not replaced totally !!!
Every internet testers never notice that the recent apps button IS ALSO the menu button, you just have to hold it.
It's like the back button, by holding it, you can also launch the multiwindows.
And the home button for Google Voice [holding] or by double tapping it, S Voice.

This tablet has been with me from 4 years ago.And now this tablet still works normally

What is the weight compared to the 10.1 version ? The 4 apps at a time feature is this only on the 12.2 inch ?
finally, no review and unboxing in the same video... personally i feel it takes more than 1 day to get a review out...
He often films his unboxings/reviews over multiple days, that's why some of his videos he started weeks or months ago.

i think the deal with the nib-replacement is: the previous styluses (styli?) had frictionless nibs (so no wear), but people (me included) didn't like the unnatural skiddy effect. So the new nibs have some friction to allow the sensation of drag (which also steadies the handwriting/drawing lines to some degree). But that means there's wear on the nib. Hence the eventual need to replace the nib.
Just found one at a thrift store for only, $8! It works great and it is still useable in 2022

I played with this today at Bestbuy and I must say, I'm impressed!! Enough to the point I'm thinking of buying one. I'm not a fan of touchwiz but i could deal with it for this monster 12.2"

For that price it should have been 128 gb or more to be a true "Pro" device.
it has micro sd card support. add as much as you want.
Even Tab S7 family and as well up coming Tab S8 family today couldn't open up that many windows(unless using dex mode or pop up windows), impressive for its time wish I had it back then my college life would have been way easier.
I like the rear of the Pro and the S Pen. I wonder what kind of watch he's wearing; it looks cool! 👍

Amazing. I can be on my 12.2 all day long and still have juice. I usually end up charging it every other day.
That said, i never use the stylus/smart pen. So I basically paid an extra 150 bucks for something I never use. I recommend just getting the tab pro 12.2 instead of the note pro 12.2.

***** the surface pro 3 seems like the right tool for school but unfortunately if u were to get it u would b force to buy the i5 or the i7 because the basic i3 is so laggy and appears to struggle alot. The surface 3 i3 is 800 dollars the i5 is 1200 n the i7 is like 1600 dollars...that's ridiculous

Wow this is a amazing tablet. This is what the next Nexus 10 or plus need to be like. 3 or 4 GBs or RAM, Larger screen, be able to multitask with multiply apps running, above par build quality, and a beautiful display. This and Full Windows 8 tablets 8/10" are the best tablets to get if you really want to replace a laptop. iPads, Transformers, Nexus 10, and Windows RT aren't going to cut it anymore.

Not the best but yes, you can using Office Mobile (official app from Microsoft) and some other unofficial apps.
Is the Office app downloadable for free?
Yes, totaly free you just need a Microsoft Account if you don't have one yet.

As Lisa already mentioned it, it comes with Hancom Office, the closest thing to MS Office on Android tablets. Very very comprehensive and right on.

Has any one heard anything about the Note Pro's replacement? I'm assuming it would get the same upgrades the Note 3 phone got. As that's what Samsung has done for this one and only version of the Note Pro. I think it mirrors the specs of the Note 4 phone.

I haven't heard any plans from Samsung, it just got Android 4.4 and this was not included with that update.

hello and thank you for the great version. I am from Perth Australia and I recently got the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2" screen. I've had this tablet now for bit over 2 days and love it, it is actually replacing my previous Motorola Xoom II tablet whch I've had for over two and a half years. My Galaxy Note Pro is the 4G/WiFi version where it uses a SIM card and also has WiFi as well. Now my question here is, does this tablet have LED Notification like that of say a Galaxy Note 2, Note 3 etc. Thank you.

great test..was waiting for the comments about the screen it self but they came at the end ;)..how is the black level on this one?..do you wash out the blacks if you crank up the brightness?..the colors seems to be more vivid than the Nexus 10 that i have now.
if i buy this it would be more of a photo viewer for my Canon 6D DSLR camera..is the colors and the grayscale accurate you think?
The screen looks great, deep blacks and great off-axis viewing. There is some significant light-bleed in some locations which is actually unusual for Samsung.

I really love the Note series , but I wish they could make th S pen Thicker and longer for big sized Note's as it would be more comfortable to use.

I guess you've already sold this tablet but if not, did it get Lollipop? Do you think maybe the Note 10.1 2014 edition is a viable option? Hey, Mike. I'd like to see your take on performance. I have the Note 10.1 2014 and with the Exynos, it lags fairly regularly. I'm curious as to whether Samsung has tuned up the performance at all, since it's almost the same hardware.

Would rather get an iPad air then get this its too expensive gonna go for the 32 gig version. Plus I don't really like the new ui samsung made. Looks too confusing to use and the iPad air just feels much nicer.

What do you do with all of the old things you unboxed in your previous videos?
Did I just see the dual shot icon beside the "switch camera/view" icon which is beside the settings icon on the upper left corner of the camera ux? Dual shot mode wasnt put together with the other camera modes in previous devices, it was also on the upper left (in landscape) or upper right (in portrait) corner.

wow in your video the pro handles very smoothy but at a bestbuy store it lagged so much that I questioned why it was there in the first place right next to a speedier note 10.1
Have you done a review on the Tab Pro 12.2 or is it the same as the 10.1 with bigger screen or is it more comparable to Note Pro 12.2 with out the S-Pen functions?
