I’ve had my city hatchback for a year now never known of the “TALL” feature until I watched your video! Very detailed thank you
very nice detailed review, but I would like to suggest that when mentioning the second row leg room, the reviewer should pull back the driver's seat to the maximum position for tall drivers, and also to mention their height for reference ... sometimes they would say that there's a good leg room but like in this case, we do not know how far back the driver seat is and we do not know how tall the reviewer is ... this is the same with the headroom - the reviewer pointed out that there's a good headroom, but we do not know how it will compare if you are a very tall person ... mentioning the reviewers height and pulling back the driver's seat to the max would really help it visualize for someone like me who is fat and tall :)

Nakakita nko nung hatchback in the flesh. Hindi sya ganun kaganda compare if you are just looking at photos and videos. Mas ok yung sedan (for me lang naman).

Good job martin! You have your own style keep it up! Gaya mo, hatchback rin sa akin dahil sa flexibility features nito. I'm sure malayo ang mararating ng hatchback city dahil sa feature na ito.
I'm a proud sedan owner but my heart is drooling for the hatchback. BUT
But as a practical single man that is planning to have a family in a year or two, I'm satisfied with the entry-level S CVT Sedan.
It is just way practical, spacious and gas efficient than the other cars I drove before.
It's more than enough for my needs. You can omit some techs of S CVT and I will still be happy. It's loaded!

How about reverse sensors sir? It's not included on the base variant. This is probably a deal breaker if some safety features are not included in the S variant

Same tayo ng status, planning din to have a family in a year or two, kaso hindi pa ako nakapili ng sasakyan, gusto ko talaga yung Isuzu Dmax 3.0 LSA or itong Honda City S Variant para makatipid nalang. I can't decide dahil hindi ko la gaano need ng personal car, hiram hiram nalang ng family car or kay utol.

3-weeks old city hatchback 2022 owner here boss.
If I only found out right away before the release of the unit that the blowby was so bad when you removed the dip stick and engine oil cap of the engine I wouldn't have bought it, I would have just had an altis.
The rear wheels are both misaligned.
The bad thing is, all of the new units in the dealership are like that, the engine blowby is so strong and the rear tires are "sakang" or having a negative camber.
Also, as a new owner, we are very careful and took care of the exterior's paint and plastic accents, but you can't imagine it happening in the casa because you're trusting them, the piano black plastic on the front of the hood obtained a lot of scratches since the mechanic did not put an engine bay cover or fender guard. Imagine a shiny 3-week old new unit that you brought in casa for early pms and you found out that it gained scratches after pms while at their service area. Tsk tsk
Another alarming concern was the transmission jerk, or what they called it shift-shock in an automatic transmission. It occurs once in a while during deceleration when you're doing engine breaking, attaining low rpm and low speed at 30-40kph. Tsk tsk

Ano Yung "blowby"? Hot air ba? Speaking of " sakang" cguro optical illusion lng function wise there's nothing wrong.i use to own a Honda pilot first generation and it has the same "sakang" look if viewed meticulously behind the car.the sedan definitely looks better but the hatch have a lot of cargo versatility.
I own the City hatchback too. Maybe its just the newbie driver in me, but I haven't personally experienced any of these problems. Not yet at least.

For me lang naman, i still prefer yung may truck space, para lagayan ng kung anu-ano, from kaban ng bigas to foldable foam para malambot ang hihigaan kapag papag na gawa sa kawayan lang ang available, cooler lagayan ng longganisa from north, at king anu-ano pang pwedeng ilagay.

As a person na may hatch, wag kayong maniwala na mas ok ang hatch kesa sa sedan in terms of space. Deceiving ang space ng hatch dahil may space na patayo maglagay. Mas ok padin ang space mg sedan. Mas malaki talaga compare sa hatch. Info lang pra sa mga mamimili sa dalawa

@@richiedirk41 mirage hatchback gamit ko. Yes oo malaki mailalagay mo sa likod itupi mo ung back seat. Nakapaglagay nako ng mga malalaking bagay dun oo andun na. Pero paano kung may sakay na? At madami kang bitbitin? Sa tingin mo ung hatch kasya mga ibang gamit? Nag outing nga kame family 2 kids then 2 kame asawa ko bitin gamit namin sa likod. D tulad ng sedan marami ka malalagay maluwag ang likod.
Ganito lodi tutal bigla mo ipapasok ung balikbayan box sa kwento mo eh at may tv pa😅
Lodi kunware may sakay sa lahat ng sasakyan hatch at sedan, sino mas maluwag na trunk space ngayon? Yung purpose ng talagang gamit ng kotse is magsakay ng tao at maglagay ng gamit. So kung puno ung hatch mo sabihin nating 5 kayo, ung space mo sa likod sapat ba? Sa sedan 5 ang sakay pero maluwag ang trunk space. Sige lodibels😁
sa sedan kaya 4 people at 4pcs luggage pang international travel at 4pcs carry-on. pero hatchback kaya magsakay ng window-type aircon na hindi kaya ng sedan. so it all depends on your needs. personally i picked the City hatchback kasi ULTR folding seats, sobrang flexible compared to City sedan

There will probably only ever be a Civic Hatch as in the turbo variant, not for the 1.8L engine, which is the sedan.
