Unrelated question: Why are Arsenal and Brentford getting 2 days additional to recover while their opponents, from the 12/27 matches, are playing again 2 days earlier on 12/30? Surely, there is a competitive advantage for these 2 and disadvantage for all others who have to turn around their squad quicker.
Moyes did so much damage to the footballing ability of these players. True, team work and togetherness was through the roof. But it’s no surprise why it’s taking us so long to try to actually pass the ball on floor again. Just the basics of passing and moving, using the space etc are taking ages for these guy to re learn. They’ll get there in the end though.
