I wanted to make a comprehensive 10 minute video filled with every aspect of Kobe's game. His flawless skill set, his dynamic style of play, and to fully illustrate what makes him so great. I have had the privilege of watching him play for a long time and I wished to condense his prime into a 10 minute video. There is a reason I consider this man the greatest player that has ever played this game.
The most remarkable thing about the greatness of Kobe Bryant is that he wasn't as blessed as other have been athletically , yet he MAXIMIZED his abilities through the best work ethic in NBA history.
Was he blessed to have Durant's 6''9 height, 7''7 wingspan?
Was he blessed to Have Lebron's 6''8 , 260 lb frame+FT line /head over rim explosion?
Was he blessed to have Tmac's unbelievable length?
Was he blessed enough to have Jordan's huge hands+incredible leaping ability?
Was he blessed enough to have Wade's or Rose's speed?
The answer is no. He isn't the fastest, most athletically or genetically gifted player ever. He was a decent leaper with an unpolished game; a weak 17-year old bench player that loved the game of basketball. No one ever thought this kid would recover from his ultimate low "air ball moment" in Utah, yet he has proven everyone wrong by blossoming into the Greatest skill/talent/fundamental player the league has EVER seen. That's the charm of Kobe Bryant. He shows that through perseverance and enduring hard work, despite any obstacle, you too can be the best at whatever you want to be. For limits are simply an illusion.

I watched this to lose weight, I remember I used to weigh close to 350 pounds and I was like if kobe can play injured and have 0 excuses I can lose 120 pounds. This video got me so hyped I just started exercising and ended up losing 128 pounds. I miss that man not going to lie to you man. ☹

I've been watching this amazing highlight reel for the past 13 years. At first it used to be my hype up before basketball games and now it's a reminder of how Kobe dominated every aspect of the game. Instant tears every time i watch this now. May the mamba mentality live on forever 💜💛

I remember watching this video in 2009 before the finals against Boston. Is, by far, one of my Kobe favorites. You can see the passion and love with which you did it. Everything fits perfectly, the selection of images, the music, etc. Thanks.

Who’s still here watching this? Still the best, only hoopers know how tremendous and great Kobe Bryant was. He is the literal embodiment of mastery with the game of basketball. He is the only player I’ve seen that has all the attributes to be considered greatest sports person, it’s his grit, and unrelenting spirit that makes me his greatest fan. And Kobe to me is the best basketball player. Every game I am in awe, when I understand the levels that exist in this space and know a person like Kobe who has the will, the creativity, the courage to try some of the moves and build that never ending arsenal of offence weapon. He and MJ are the standard. Period.

This truly is greatness personified. I will cry when Kobe Bryant retires. I cannot believe people have the audacity to compare Lebron to Jordan. I cannot believe people have the audacity to bypass Kobe when ranking Lebron James. Kobe might not be MJ, but MJ is not Kobe. I had the absolute pleasure of watching Kobe & Lebron play. I have to give you big props. I think this is the greatest video ever created for an athlete. Perfect mix of clips and music. I come here once a month just to get my Kobe fix when it's the offseason. He's a fantastic player. When he leaves the game, there's gonna be a huge void in the NBA. No one to match his intensity, work ethic, his 4th quarter performances, and his creativity. I absolutely hope he sticks around for 1 or 2 more years.

It starts off with 43 dunks then continues to showcase the ball skills, the defense/shot blocking, passing, layups, best jump shot ever, etc. over an exhilarating and ongoing career. The music and comments are great too! I believe the Black Mamba is the greatest player to ever play as well. After watching this video, I feel like running through a wall.

Kobe was a force to be reckoned with in the early 2000's. I just remember watching his games and just dropping my jaw in disbelief at some of the things he did. As much as I hate the Lakers, I will always respect Kobe Bryant. One of the greatest to ever play.
