This product has been game-changing for me. I ride solo, so to see cars coming off in the distance and if they're doing anything sketchy gives me plenty of time to adapt. I also use it for my electric unicycle!
I had the first gen Trieye... it had a smaller mirror and it gets swivel a lot over time due to wear and or taking it off. But I am still using it till this day coz I dun need to look at the back, just twist my head a bit and i can see behind.
@@melvintanchannel Yeah... you need a while to get use to it just like wearing clipless shoes. I got used to mine and now, very hard not to ride without it. Planning to get the current one you got.
They do sell spare parts, check out their website ... But I am. Sure it will last long... Some of my subscribers told me they have been using it for years....
Yea..... But it's pretty solid base on what I feel. Even the pivot point feels good quality.... How long it will last is yet to be determined but overall its high quality plastic I can feel
Thanks Melvin for the review, do you have any chance to let those that suffer long sighted problem using it? Like me, you know what I mean? we belong to those that need a reading glass to read… so call uncles la
Hahaha they have prescription adapters so u can install powered glasses as an adapter but I seriously don't know how it would effect the mirror or let alone the usage having long sightsed...sorry bro can't help u there as much as I would want to.
I don't know, at first glance, it seems to me like a dangerous product since the rearview image blends and blocks the image ahead. Nice that you can see behind but not good that it partially replaces the view ahead. It could be dangerous.
Yea.... It does feel that way... But after testing a few times it's not that bad... When u drive a car and u see the rear mirror u also will not be looking front, the benefit of the car is the mirror is much larger and u see for a shorter period and you can quickly determine what u see, for this trieye u might take abit longer getting use to... For me after 4 weeks of using it... It gets better... But I dun use it when I am going fast or the road is unpredictable...
Well... Some have used it and swear by it.... It's a matter of getting use to... Infact radar I will still look back... And also radar also I feel its bulky....
@@melvintanchannel I use the radar as a guide…radar doesn’t sound I still check before changing lane but when radar sounds I confirm won’t change 😅 I have the old model with no camera so not too bad…the new one too big…

How well does it work in night riding?
@@beavc Not so good therefore I don't recommend it.
How are the mirrors attached to the sunglasses? Concern if its gonna be difficult to get a replacement.

It's basically, you replace the whole lens with the mirror attached.
