Marco's little speech is the most beautiful thing ever - humility, confidence, gratitude, empathy, generosity of spirit - the epitome of great education. His parents, his teachers, and his school should feel so proud. Not only his gracious dedication of the medal to Kotomi, but also how he acknowledged those anonymous volunteers and workers at the theatre who made the Prix possible... that humility is something so special, especially in the context of a competition. I cried when I saw the live-stream, and tears welled up in my eyes again as I just rewatched this video. Bravo to Marco and to Academie Princesse Grace!!
it’s always so interesting to see the class right before seeing their actual solo performances. in the classes, everyone seems to be kinda tripping over themselves and finishing almost none of their double tours cleanly, and then some people awkwardly and reluctantly standing in the front because they have no choice. then when it gets time for their variations, boom, everyone transforms into a regal princess or mighty prince, all double tours landed without a stumble, and pirouettes cleanly stopping in a perfect fourth. it’s amazing and so fun to see.
What I like about this year's Prix is that there were a lot of different variations in the finals, not like other years where you had 20 Swanildas or 20 Auroras, it could get a little tedious
I'm trying to figure it out why Milda Luckute didn't win, she was so gorgeous and she didn't win any prize, the others girls were pretty good too, but I think Milda deserved it, I mean she was self confident all the time
I'm looking for videos of Yamada Kotomi 317 classic lessons. Where is it? I watched a video of Day 3 before she broke her toe, but just before her turn, live streaming switched to boys. I want to see the continuation of girls B.
if anyone does to their website and check out the variations beforehand and then watch the streaming, does anyone wonder why almost everyone does a specific variation? it just twists my brain.
I know, right? I genuinely thought that the list of variations only consisted of like 4 solos, but when I checked the website there was 12 different options! Most of which never even got performed by a single contestant (giselle peasant pas, and I think there was 1st or 2nd odalisque)!!
Has anyone ever done the Fairy of the Woodland Glade one? I had to look it up, and to be fair it's quite odd so I get why it might not be popular, but I didn't even know it was on the list
I'm hurt for all the girls who go on POINTE which is very hard just for a guy to win who only goes on semi-pointe! guys should not be able to compete with girls. they do way more work. 😞
Leslye Trejo not true! Marco really stood out and he did amazing, it would’ve been totally unfair if he didn’t win. I get not wanting girls to compete with guys, but don’t discredit Marco’s incredibly hard work. He deserved the win.
Boys and girls all work very hard. Although the training is not the same and does not make the same part of the body work, it is as hard for boys than it is for girls 🙂

I’m stressed just by watching this. They must be under so much pressure.

i know... D:
I' so sad for the back guy, he was so, so good in modern. And the both Sylphide dancers too.
Молодцы ребята!!! Удачи !
The modern dance sections were incredible. Magnificent choreography. Strange that most of the finalists performed better in the modern dance section.
Bravo Marco !!!!
I want to know marco' s speech🥺i can't understand his speech😭becuse my Engrish skill is worse😢
Das ist Super!

Yeah, i lost my interest in watching the selections after like the 100th awakening of the flora and paquita 1 girls variation

Thank you Sofi a and alina y! isn't it weird how The Awakening of Flora is a new variation and suddenly there's like, 10+ people doing it?
Has anyone ever done the Fairy of the Woodland Glade one? I had to look it up, and to be fair it's quite odd so I get why it might not be popular, but I didn't even know it was on the list
GSMachinist, they did the Woodland Glade a few years ago, but I did not see it this year.

1:06:00 My huge fav! Reminds me to Rudolf!
2:01:00 Marco again. Nuriyev 22nd century!
No one has yet surpassed nor equalled the great Alicia Alonso in Giselle.
who's the instructor during the first 10 minutes?
It's Patrick Armand, Director of the San Francisco Ballet School!

Moyûga Chan nah
irina kay nah
You do realize they have to jump a lot more and lift girls?
Men's Contemporary was a struggle
I think so too
