Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this aircraft. I had a friend take me up in his real 1960 Comanche the other day and I took that experience back to the sim and this plane is pretty much spot on. The sounds wearing good headphones rock. Hearing the sounds the wings make is so cool. 👍
All of their planes in fsx I bought over time and awesome. The engine life, maintenance, walk around inspections right on target. Well worth the price. Let alone having live avatars in the plane with your loading. Thumbs up.
FYI - The President of A2A, Scott Gentile, owns a Comanche 250. They got most, if not all, of the flight model data from his personal plane. I bought the sim plane, and it's simply fantastic. AccuSim is a game changer.
Wow - I had no idea this much was wrong with the Comanche, what an eye-opener. Thank you for making such a thorough and objective review as practically all other reviews are simply veiled product endorsements. I'll hold off buying if until A2A addresses all the issues you found.
Thanks for your complement. I try to be as objective as possible. I'm sure A2A will fix these issue pretty soon. Even though there were issues I still liked flying it. When I get a chance I will change some settings and see if it affects turbulence.
This much was wrong ? Like what ? The tablet that didn't load up properly once or the heading of the aircraft on the GPS which you can easily fix because it's matched to the magnetic compass ? What else was "wrong" with it when this video was released ? Other planes come out half finished and they never reach this level of realism. There simply is no other aircraft in MSFS that was so complete and bug-free on release as the Comanche. Oh and it's had its first update after a couple of days, 2 more updates since then so yeah
You need to be near the track line which is the magenta prolly about 1-2nm from it then set it to hi for better outcome and it should follow it and get on course. It’s old school and realistic . I found out the hard way
Re the turbulence in flight. Reading up on that it seems both the turbulence setting in MSFS and the one you set in the tablet will both impact the overall effect, so you might want to experiment. I personally use Realistic in the sim and Medium (which is the default) in the tablet.
Thank's a lot for your review. I don't understand something. I have both MSFS and P3D version of this plane, but when flying both, they don't seem to be the same plane, P3D version is much tricky and rough to fly well than the MSFS one.
Thank you for a great review..Bought the 250 yesterday.. I have exactly the same set up as you re Alpha,Bravo Logitech and I tracker, so any help/info re setting the Alpha and Bravo up would be appreciated as I did not know about any Mod A2A have done re setting up switches and Nav.. I thought I would have to use default settings and mouse.. Not sure if I have the Alpha /Bravo set up with the new update of two days ago? Shame ATA did not make it able to do RNAV /ILS but perhaps thats due to the vintage aircraft but I wonder if any real pilots might modify the aircraft in real life?

I agree it fly's very well...the ability to trim the airplane is huge by itself and my biggest pet peave on MSFS.

Great Review but since the Exchange rate would damage my funds at the moment I will have to wait till that Dec Holiday
Right! Well, at least you know ow of you want to save up for it or not.

@I_Evo I'll try that. Thanks
I think if you hit the OBS on the GPS, your course will come up on the HSI….and the autopilot will track.
Fantástico.

I don't habe any experience with P3D, it might be a function of P3D not being as refined as MSFS

I might be interested in this airplane if the auto pilot was upgraded.
