Amazing India, Mumbai is like Tokyo, Los Angeles, Beijing, Shanghai, London with 5000 Years of advancement. No country in the world can even dream to touch the scale and amazing of India.
Your Mumbai blog was amazing, you are such a great one individual who respected all temples visits and went inside even though you had to take your shoes off. Such an awesome, humble person that I can't express in words. May God bless you with all happiness and wealthyness with lots of love and blessings to you and your family.
What an immersive vlog, everyone looks so very alive. It brings back many a memory, even though there's so many inevitable changes. Thanks for taking us with you, we're happy to have discovered you.
As the US born son of a former Mumbaikar, you make me want to return to India more often. My father grew up in Kalyan, about 1.5 hours out of Mumbai CST train station on Central Railway. My relatives now are in Navi Mumbai and Panvel....also Thane. Worth noting that the majority of the land in Mumbai is below sea level... flooding is common. Mumbai is an island....akin to NYC. ...down to the stock exchange. I hope you went to Mani Bhavan while you were there....the place where Gandhi ran certain resistance campaigns while in Mumbai. BTW... enjoy your pav bhaji, bhel puri, and other Mumbai delicacies as far as food.... particularly the fish and seafood.
Hey, I lived in Mumbai for 35yrs of my life before coming to Canada as a PR 4yrs ago. I miss "Amchi Mumbai" and nothing can match Mumbai vibes especially during the night time
@@riteshrajeshsingh1607 bro small help iam from south iam planning to shift to Mumbai for job purpose iam 35. to lead a decent life (1) person how much? 20/30k enough plz guide me 🙏.. (your thoughts)..
@@santoshsai84 hi, it depends where you are living in Mumbai and where you are working. 20k to 30k is small amount if you live in suburbs as rent will be high. If you want to live in outskirts then travelling will be really hectic as local trains are nightmare and travelling daily could be frustrating. I'm sorry, I don't have a straight answer as it might differ from person to person. Let me know if you have any other questions
While you're in Mumbai shooting vlogs there, I'm thinking to do that here. While watching your vlog cuz it makes me feel nostalgic cuz I lived in mumbai for 5 years and also, he's taking you to a great place, pure intentions of being curious, helpful and generous.. Also please shoot some more about India and go to ' Sasan Gir to watch Lions'.
Wow now that's awesome I would also recommend travelling to machu picchu Peru and to Cusco Peru and to the Capital of Peru Lima the city of the kings as it's known the food in Peru is delicious and also there's lot's to do out in Peru
I love the in between sections and that the fishers and laundry facilities. It captures even better the vipe then the big building that are a sign of the British old regime
It's related to the apartment building shown in the pic and under construction. CC most likely means Commencement Certificate in this case. Once completed, utilities are installed/operational, etc. the builder can get Occupancy Certificate (OC) from municipal authority to certify it's safe to live.
Thank you very much for showing the harsh realities of this mega city, while most of the vloggers show just the posh side of this vibrant city that never sleeps.
I have visited Mumbai on business and really love the city. However, I did not get any time to explore on my own because I was with coworkers and it was a busy schedule. I am planning to visit again this year, and I am curious are there any tour groups for middle-aged/older foreigners. Can I simply hire a car from Hertz or some other car rental company, with a chauffeur, and go around the city?
Hi Monica, self drive rental cars are not very common especially for international tourists but hiring a car and driver for a couple of days won't be expensive (60 USD approx.). So if you know where you want to go you can hire one online through Apps like Ola or Uber, or through your hotel. Otherwise, there are plenty of guided tours as well
@@mamba24281 Thanks for the info. I would not even attempt to drive myself in Mumbai. I simply don't have the skills to handle that kind of traffic.😆I would definitely consider renting a car with a driver. I didn't know you can rent a car for an entire day through Uber or Ola.
@Monica McCarthy that's true, you need both skill and bravery 😀..I'm sure Ola has different packages up to 10 hours and I think Uber does too. So if you build an itinerary yourself it may be a good option
You have covered actual scenes of Mumbai like littering, crowd, cables wirings on the streets, houses covered by paper, black walls by consistent raining, broken pavement, encroachment on the street which needs to be fixed before calling it as beautiful Mumbai And I am surprised all the comments of Indian people over this video call Mumbai as beautiful :(
Im from Pakistan. I hope India grows. It still has long way to go. I wish loc is made permanent border and we have visa free access to each other country.

The British East India Company was dissolved in 1874, so it had nothing to do with the Gateway of India arch. It was built to commemorate the crowning of George V as Emperor of India. By that time all the lands of the EIC had been taken over by the Crown.
It is due to because in india we have such a large population so it is not possible for everyone to afford travelling in a high fare ride instead we use to prefer auto as it has cng which save our money also we also have modern and super taxi

As I keep saying, Indian architecture is fabulous. They should keep building using Indian architects and follow their own indigenous style.
I fucking know right. India has the best and richest heritage in the world and they just try to copy american and make glass and concrete jungles.
And here I am noticing how well dressed they are.
Is that a sarcastic?
@Harrappa I was referring to annabanana730's comment actually 🙈

Woahhhh they cleaned up the roads quite a bit!! Hopefully they find a better way to regulate erosion instead of the plastic bags tho
Wow, laundry facility is crazy ! I could image the mad scramble if it starts raining.
Well the issue is not to wash clothes as you can use tap water and soap the issue is to dry them as you can see with those hanging clotheslines

I would say its a mix between the two. Some Victorian influence for sure.
It's a mixture of both
Indo British architecture is the fusion of the best in the world
