I visited the alleged river location attributed to that visit by Paul. It was very moving. Nice work creating the purple dye, nice moves too! Is that a military BMW?
Madder root would make crimson. You can get a shade of purple with certain additives but you don’t just dump some orange powder into a bowl and magically get a deep purple. Royal purple back then was made with a type of sea snail or mollusk. Luckily today we can just buy a bottle of Rit at Wal Mart. 😉
