Another beautifully articulated interpretation by Tuomas Kourula. This is becoming addictive!

I simply must add a comment after listening to you play once again. It is a stunning interpretation. You could play for any king, in any court. This song is a dream brought to life by your gift. Thank you for allowing me to feel like a king as I listen in my home.

News headline - Fire started when archlute player turned to see who was at the door and knocked over candles. Very nice video and playing.

This is the stuff that dreames are made of. I have been transported elsewhere and do not wish to return. Thank you.

Thanks! I think that the video might have been too much for some viewers - but not for everyone, happily!

Exquisite to listen to-and watch-a lutenist who is absolutely in the vibe of a piece about a dream. Every note and timing is dreamy.

To think music was this sophisticated five hundred years ago.

Yes, it's been a long slow decline ever since

Yes, we have lost much. Individuality, intimacy, a sense of self, subtlety, delicacy, and our ear drums! RG

May I ask what kind of lute is it that is being played so beautifully here? ( I am new to this field).

Thank you for the comment! It is an Italian archlute, single strung here but capable of being double strung as well.
