If you "celebrate" Lent(celebrate isnt a word id use for lent but I am tired), you could start 10 days early and do the Kozy Knitter socks one sock at a time.
@@Learnedhandknits True! Im trying to decide some other time like that, or just Christmas in July, or hold onto it until next year so im ready. I could go ahead and skein it up so its hidden and the colors are a surprise again lol.
Yup, yarn collecting is a separate and totally valid hobby. 😊 I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by my collection though, so I'm planning to knit through some of it next year. Your sock advents look so fun! I'm so tempted, but I usually can't convince myself to shell out the money for one. Maybe next year.
@@kelleyjogirl Right? I bought the Woolens and Nosh one as a total splurge - its by far the most expensive yarn ive ever bought. I bought it before I knew anyone else made the same idea. The Cozy Knitter was quite a bit cheaper, but then you have to wind it yourself, so you do pay for that labor of the surprise. That said - I will probably continue to buy one each year if I can swing it because the experience is surprisingly worth it to me even though I'm very cheap in general lol.
