That's great to hear. 17 years is a good chunk of your life and I applaud you for keeping it for so long. It's irreplaceable and it's a slice of some of the best Japanese engineering. You have a great history and connection with yours and that's priceless. Hope you continue to enjoy it for many more years to come. Thanks for watching.

90's bikes are gaining popularity as they offer so much for so little. I have a slowly growing collection because I can have several for far less than the cost of anything new. For me the big difference is now I don't need reliability so much as I work from home, I have time to tinker in the garage and I have the experience and tools to fix most problems.

I drive a cagiva navigator, can get most parts of other bikes, just have to watch my bodywork and make my own chain guides😂

Nice ride .I have a D 1994. Thank you for letting us hear your ZZR in it's glory. I enjoyed it but Just one small thing, why no gloves / boots?

@@davidharris5736 Thanks for Watching David. Yes my bad, it's the old just nipping out for a quick spin. No excuse I know. I had had a very busy weekend in the garden and it was a last minute thought on a very muggy day. But you are right to comment, it's not good practice.

Yes I have already had my ticking off and accept it humbly. Quite right to pick up on it, I was being lazy and care free. I accept its not a good strategy. Thanks for watching and for the comment.

Another great video mate. I have a video on YT on why I love the ZZR 1100 and I echo your sentiments exactly on things like ABS etc. Ride Fast, Ride Safe mate.

Riding without gloves!? First thing you put down when you fall, bare skin and tarmac even at walking pace, doesn't bear thinking about.

Not holding the (left side) handlebar with your thumb under - VERY bad habit and VERY DANGEROUS!

@@vordan7111 I had a repetitive wrist injury about 10 years ago, I could not use my left hand, ended up for a few years riding DCT's so that I could let it recover. It was a habit I adopted as it reduced the pain. I have obviously built my hand strength up on my tendons over the years to compensate. I have been trying to see if I can revert but seems to be hard for me to do so. It's a fair point and I take it on board. Thanks for watching. Stay safe.
