I like it. I think it looks nice & neatly done. No loud pump noise to talk over either, that's an A+ plus in my book. Wish i could of done that to are pool. But couldn't afford it @ the time. Got a great deal on a 19x9x48 for around $548.00 the box was torn up when they delivered it so they gave us another $289.00 discount back. I just hope when I put the pool up this summer nothing is torn up or missing. So I got a great deal for sure.
Thank you I appreciate it. I’m sure whatever you do will look great. He gets a little stressful when they’re done in your yard is a mess. That’s when the work early begins lol
I’m in New Jersey. I would love the same setup with a heater. Love your simple deck to the stairs. But yeah idk in New Jersey it’s the most expensive state so your 6k might be my 30k lol
Looks great we just bought a new pool oh man I don’t forgot how big it was it’s the octagon style 5 foot in what I have out there now but I took it down when my father bought this house in 1998 there was a pool here 4 foot octagon shape that’s why my wife got another octagon shape but the new one is 7 foot longer it’s a really large pool I just can’t think of the size right now my memory is bad from this lime disease I have but your pool looks great I know I would love to put mine in the ground like that maybe next summer because my wife bought it in we’re paying somebody to put it up and I told her while she was late may do it and some friends I said it don’t take a rocket scientist I said I’ve had pause my whole life but she’s just one of them women you can’t tell her nothing night she will start looking online and calling places and I’m like what are you doing I can do that myself but she wants to pay because if there’s any problems then it will be on the installers but next summer I’m gonna get it into the ground like yours I even told her I said why are you wanna put it up so late in the year it’s still sitting there Where the guy had to drive the truck up my driveway back the truck up the driveway actually it was a pretty big truck and he had a pallet jack and if I wouldn’t of had any plywood he would’ve been in trouble my driveway is crush and run whatever they call the stuff after they put a new road in and all the black rocks like every couple years I have to redo the driveway because I live on 5 acres little more than 5 acres but the way my property is it’s got like a little slant make out and when it rains real hard the rocks wash away over time and this year we’ve gotten a lot of rain in Maryland
Hey, I hope you feel better soon man that’s a bummer. I would definitely try to get it sunken into the ground at at least 2 feet. It really makes entertaining much more fun.
Nice pool set up. Is that an above ground or semi above ground? I have an above ground from pool factory. I need to bury mine 2 feet on the side where my yard is not level from install. I was wondering if there needs to be drainage with the dirt you put in prior to the stones?
Hey Matt, thanks for the comment. I used tailings from the dig to fill in around the sides that they were done. After it settles, you might need to add a little bit more on the sides then I just put a weed guard down with large stones. Whatever you do do not use small P gravel or mulch because if you need a new liner, it’ll be very difficult to do the larger. The stones the easier it is to move out of the way. If you have any more questions, please let me know.
The pool company dug it and installed it and backfilled. I had to bury all the lines and take it to the side of the house. Much easier though because you’re bringing the equipment to the electricity instead of bringing the electricity to the equipment.
I brought in filled dirt that was screened because they dug clay up, and I didn’t wanna have any big clumps against the pool. We have done this a few times. This is the lowest in the ground I have put one. If you bury the lines, it’s almost like having an inground pool.
Hey, thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it. The property taxes did not increase because they do not consider it a permanent structure. I really think it is the way to go. I have had three friends do it now gives you a great look for minimal cost.
@@goreyboggs oh that's great men that means that they consider it as fixture that can be put and remove that's great 👍 thank you for the information yes the best way to go I had friend he build an enormous in ground pool and they raise his property taxes.
Hey Kristy, it’s for an in ground pool. That’s why I had to do the small 2 step deck. I think the ladder was $200. Might be able to find the model number if you need it.
Beautiful and affordable! Love it.
Omg. that frog system is LIFE. imma follow you just for that alone.
Thank you that means a lot. You’re absolutely right. It’s like an automated pool.

really nice setup

Looks great. What is the criticism from others you keep alluding to? Simply that the pool isn't made of concrete?
Beautiful!!!
Congratulations on the pool. And my apologies for your neighbors being so close. That must suck

Aquasport 15x24 installed 24” in ground in nj will run close to 20k installed w electrical, good filter, and excavating, dirt removal, and backfill
@@MJRose1008 Aquasport sounds expensive. But I did my own electric
Did that cost include the concrete skirting and the fence? Looks great.

The installation, did you hire some
One or did you do it yourself?
The pool company dug it and installed it and backfilled. I had to bury all the lines and take it to the side of the house. Much easier though because you’re bringing the equipment to the electricity instead of bringing the electricity to the equipment.
What type of material did you backfill against the pool with? Did you just use dirt or did you do a slurry mix or anything like that?

Did you include the concrete and stone in the installation price?
@@nicoleelocin4758 nope that would be Pool and install only would not include the extra pipe going to the house or electrical
Did your Township assess an increase in taxes since it's partially in ground like that?
@@scottgood7888 hey Scott, they do not consider it a permanent structure so I did not have to pay more taxes
@goreyboggs Even though it's in ground?
Nice job men did you had to get a permit to do that pool and did it increase your property taxes at all?

why would you take the pool out and fill it with concrete ???
Just pointing out if I ever wanted to get rid of it, there’s a plan
I can never get used to living next to people with 2 story homes.. give you ZERO privacy in your backyard
