Ram led an army of apes to fight the demon king Ravan who'd kidnapped his wife. Because Ram's brother deformed Ravan's beloved sister's face. The demon king acted out of Rage. He was able to re-acquire his wife Sita, after battling and killing Ravan and his entire army. He could have gone to Lanka alone, to fight Ravan, but he sacrificed an entire army to do so. He could have apologized and made amends, but instead he insulted by sending a monkey as an emissary who burnt down half his kingdom ! He killed off Ravan's family members one by one, before rescuing his wife, who was kept as a political prisoner on house arrest. Funny thing: the demon king did not misbehave with Sita, or force her. He impregnated her on the way back, but the people of his kingdom wouldn't accept her as their queen, because she's "been with another man". He made his pregnant wife take an "Agni Pariksha"(trial by fire). She had to walk on burning red hot coal, which she went through because she was "pure". But that wasn't enough, he banished his wife, to go live in the wild, alone and pregnant. He was such a show off he built a model of his wife and didn't remarry. But in reality he didn't feel sorry for what he did, because he didn't go looking for her! He chilled in his royal suite, taking care of his kingdom, while his wife gave birth to twins Luv and Kush, in a forest hut. When the kids grew up, they swore to avenge their mothers predicament, so they single-handedly waged war against Rams army, and would have won, if it weren't for Sita, who made peace between the two parties and ended the battle. She then committed suicide, because the emotional pain she went through was, a little too much ! So pardon me if I don't get up with full enthusiasm and yell out, "Jai Shri Ram" like other the indoctrinated people. A man that disrespects women, is no God to me ! That is a Tyrant !

It's says that valmiki has written Uttar Ramayan foreseeing Ramjis future but actually in the same text chapter one, Narad Muni tells valmiki about Ramayana. Even in Narad munis version, there is no hint of Uttar kand and sitajis exile. Therefore Uttar kand was not at all written by valmiki ji. It's an adulteration to depopularise shri ram.
