Our neighbors were really nice when I think now , how would we feel if like 15+ uninvited people came over every week to our house to watch tv.

We'd always make it a point to go for the early morning service so that we would not miss Ramayan. Sometimes, we'd even skip church for it.

Everyone will search for ramayan now and start seeing it once again. One of the greatest memories I ever had with this serial. This serial used to get the whole family together and spend time. It made us disciplined and made us to give respect to elders. This not because Sri Ram is god or something. This serial shows us the real essence of ramayan that makes one understand that any human who can follow the specified duties and never leave the responsibilities given to him, can become Ram one day.

When ramayan was aired my mom was of my age so she used to tell us about ramayan that how epic it was and i always wanted to watch it, so when i heard the news that ramayan will be aired again in lockdown i was very happy. I love ramayan so much this is the best😘
My mom told me that at that time , she was 7 or 8 years old and she used to think that it was the actual ramayan which was shown on the TV and that someone recorded it during Treta Yuga . So many old family stories came during the first covid lockdown ......

My grandpa was Ravans friend and he had gone to his house for some work and I had accompanied him when I was a kid. I still remember I was so freaked out on the inside and shivering seeing him in person. They were talking so nicely and calmly. When we came out and I sat in the car I asked my grandpa why was he being so nice to U ? He's ravan! He laughed and explained to me he's jst portraying that role for tv but in real life he's a gem ! As kids we still didn't get it but now we know the entire world saw them the way they were.. what an acting and what kind people they are!

I am from Lahore, Pakistan. Ramayan used to play on Doordarshan, in 80s when I as in high school. Only two channels those days PTV nd Doordarshan. All of our family including my grandmother used to watch this. Beautiful story of Ram stands for upholding the truth and justice and courage to challange the evil. I am so grateful to watch these wonderful actors again after all these years and very grateful that there are English subtitles. I am a Hindu Punjabi who grew up with Ram and Sita, through VHS tapes that my uncle who put on for me when I visited him and his wife. Unfortunately I was never taught Hindi nor Punjabi but my aunt and unclw were so loving and patient, they would translate almost every dialogue ❤

Arun Govil sir is a great actor, not properly utilized by Hindi film industry. Even prior to 'Ramayan', he was famous for his classic movie 'Saawan Ko Aane Do', which was a big hit that time. His movie 'Saawan Ko Aane Do' was excellent and its songs were incredibly melodious.
My Late Grandpa was the Biggest devotion of Ram, he has translet Ramayan in our Language Nepali, which inspire me alot. My Grandfather's story matchs alot with Ramanand Sagar.

I am so grateful to watch these wonderful actors again after all these years and very grateful that there are English subtitles. I am a Hindu Punjabi who grew up with Ram and Sita, through VHS tapes that my uncle who put on for me when I visited him and his wife. Unfortunately I was never taught Hindi nor Punjabi but my aunt and unclw were so loving and patient, they would translate almost every dialogue ❤

Arun Govil sir is a great actor, not properly utilized by Hindi film industry. Even prior to 'Ramayan', he was famous for his classic movie 'Saawan Ko Aane Do', which was a big hit that time. His movie 'Saawan Ko Aane Do' was excellent and its songs were incredibly melodious.
If they just talk and others team member will not intrupt...it never lose its purity
