Love that you do this Mary! I’ve said this before on a previous angel tree video but my mother was a single mom to myself and my twin sister. She did everything on her own and one year for Christmas we were really struggling and she had no choice but to do an angel tree submission otherwise we wouldn’t have had any presents and that Christmas was one of the most amazing Christmas’s I’ve ever had in my life. We woke up and our living room was a sea of presents. It was amazing to receive so many awesome gifts but now as an adult looking back the most amazing part of that Christmas was the smile on my mother’s face and her being able to see the joy on her children’s faces. Thank you for doing this Mary! As a former angel from an angel tree it means so much more than you know! Love when you post! Thank you again Mary for all that you do! ❤️🥰❄️🎄
I remember last year lots of people mentioned that they would love to donate some money so you could take on more angels. If you set up a gofundme or something like that we could help you buy gifts for your four angels😊

I was hoping you’d do this again this year, you seemed to be really excited to go shopping and share the gifts with us. I was heavily pregnant and emotional watching last year and it was the thing I looked for everyday while stuck on my sofa on bed rest. Love that you are doing 4 kids this year!
Oh Mary, the angel is this scenario is YOU! You are such a tender hearted and generous person. God bless you for all you do. Some of these children are lucky just to have a decent meal to eat, so this will mean so much to them and their parents. My daughter is a teacher in a poorer community. On Fridays she sends home bags of snacks with certain needy kids so they will have a least some snacks to eat over the weekend. Every bit of help these precious kids can get is a blessing!
Your so selfless Mary. You can see you love giving to others and expect nothing in return, what a truly big heart you have. I hope you get all the love you deserve this year and someone does something special just for you.

Your excitement about giving these children gifts is so contagious!I remember as a little girl me and my mom would pick an angel off the big tree at our local mall (obviously she bought the gifts) and I always loved doing it. Then ever since my first job at 18 I’ve always looked for an angel to shop for every year and it’s like the holidays are not complete without this for me.
I did this for one of the developmentally disabled adult clients at my nonprofit job. Seeing him walking around feeling spiffy and enjoying his new clothes just made me so happy.
Hi Mary, as someone who spends every single year panicking over how I will provide my kids with a magical Christmas, thank you! It warms me inside knowing that these beautiful kids will receive some amazing gifts from yourself. Just an idea, would you consider creating an Amazon wish list or a fundme page for people who would like to donate/help you get these children some gifts? ❤
We did this through my employer several times for years and it was such a beautiful thing to do. We would do families and individual children. The sight of seeing the police caravan and santa claus arrive with all the gifts omg I love it.

Have you looked into the online marketplaces in the UK? (Is it gumtree or something?) I know our main portal for selling or buying secondhand here in Norway has an extra category for christmas (and also under covid), where people could ask for help for different things they can't afford/do, and presents for their children or second hand sporting equipment or free use of someones cabin etc. Local groups have christmas gift drives, but then you often can't buy spesifically something the children wish for/needs. More and more people here need to resort to things like this, espescially this year, and I can only imagine how it is for people already getting by with less in the UK.
There’s a few online if you Google, the first that come up are the Salvation Army which do something similar and there’s a Angel Tree scheme with Prison Fellowship UK that helps send presents to young children who’s parents are in prison and there’s also one KidsOut that’s for refugee children :)

My mom always gets me something I need with money for Christmas so I always have a ‘gift’ under the tree. Even if it’s just socks or stuff for my car it’s appreciated because when you’re older practical gifts are the best.
You can always get a gift card from game stop too get game stuff! They r some lucky kids

It's the first video I watch on this channel that's not about Harvest, and the wrapping paper... lol I never heard of this tradition (it doesn't exist in my country) and it's just wonderful! It's a lesson in life thinking how many thing we take for granted (and possibly took as children too) while there are kids who are in needs of clothes. It's heartbreaking but also lovely that people with a big heart like you are there, happy to give these angels the Christmas joy they deserve. Bless you.

I just want to say thank you, Mary. Last year, I saw your angel tree videos and was inspired to start a new family tradition. Instead of exchanging gifts with my siblings, we all “adopt” an angel and their family. This year, my teacher friends and I adopted an additional family! I do Angel Tree as well. I buy toys and other items on clearance throughout the year at Walmart, Target, TJMaxx, Marshall's, and so on. Then I match them to the tag. So far it's worked out.

I love that you're doing this again!! Also, just a note, I'm a Librarian and The Babysitter's Club series is very popular! There are 2 series though, one from the 80's and one that is a graphic novel series currently being worked on. They have over 10 of them out now and I'm sure Costco would have a book set of them! I just know if you looked it up you might get confused and I just wanted to help clarify, as kids I've seen at that age really love the graphic novel series 🖤🖤🖤 I hope this helps and keep being amazing!!
The 80’s series is the best! I had a huge collection of them growing up, I’m so sad I donated them now that they’re popular again.
This is so kind of you, Mary! I absolutely loved the video last year where you showed all the fabulous stuff you got for the sisters. On Christmas morning I actually thought of them opening the presents and smiling! I can't wait to see what you get the children this year.
For the little girl that likes nail art, I immediately thought of things like splatter paint for wrapping paper. There’s a wrapping paper at target that’s called ‘rainbow stripes and snowflakes’ and it reminds me of the stickers and glitters you see in nail art kits. It’s not black, but it’s got every color of the rainbow in it and I think it might be a cool idea to use that!
I loved your angel tree videos from last year, it’s truly a beautiful gift you do for these families, and I can’t wait to see the hauls/wrapping videos for these kids!
I’m so very glad that you are doing this again. You are going to make those kids so very happy and I love the joy it’s bringing you. I’ve always adopted an Angel Tree child almost every year and I’m so sad that this year I won’t be able to, my husband passed away in Feb and our financial situation is not what it once was. I know God will provide though and I will be able to this again one day. Until then, I will watch all the happiness that you will bring these 4 lucky children. I love this so much every year. I usually do a foster child christmas but my father has been in the hospital for months 3 hours away in downtown Chicago so we are strapped. My girls will be lucky with whatever I can get this year, but we have realized family is so important they understand. Makes my heart happy at the thought you always put into these, it means so much to them I sure!

The babysitters club is a series of books I read them when I was in elementary school! I think they made a tv show based off the books too
Sorry replying as I watch. Pete the Cat is like an interactive learning book. I got one offline for free for my daughter last year and it had a lot ofsticker pages that you use for the activity pages in the book.
I just Googled and found we have several Angel Tree charities over here in the UK .....it's such a lovely idea ❤ Although I can't do it personally but we donate to food banks throughout the year and I try to put in treats for children and we will be donating to various charities for Christmas, as usual. This is so special though ❤🎅🤶👼🎁❤

Just typing quickly in case I fall asleep. Yes, Babysitters Club is books but it's also now a Netflix series.
Our Christmas angel in our state is much easier than what you described. I absolutely love doing it and have been doing a few kids every year. But our angel cards have all the info on them up front and you do not register it with anyone. You pick the child off the tree and purchase the items on the card ( coat, shoes, dresses, pants, shirts, toys etc) they didn't used to ask for shoes but had house slippers listed... i always bought winter shoes or tennis shoes for the kids. You also are asked to not wrap the gifts but turn everything in a white trash bag with the tag on it. Easy!
When you know everything upfront you are not faced with unclear sizing or toys you have to research (i don't have children) and run the risk of buying the uncool stuff. Also, toys you don't particularly agree with like a hunting bow 🤷♀️... really??? the kid could have asked for it but what are the chances a 7-9 yr old girl would be out there hunting bambi gimme a break)
I'd love to do one of these some time. I think I'd have to save up a bit. I love hearing what the kids are into!
