    Great presentation on how to do "boat gymnastics" when replacing a faucet!

      One of my least favorite things to do on the boat, at home and even on the jobsite 😩

    Great job, looks much better. Small and simple changes like that make a lot of difference in the overall look of the cockpit area. I need to do the same with our cockpit faucet and I also need to swap the factory ice maker for a refrigerator. I got good advice for doing that job from one of your previous “how you did it” videos. Keep e’m coming Paul! In this -18 C weather, your videos keep reminding us that warmer days are coming.

      Both of those projects (faucet and fridge) not only make things look a little nicer, they make them more comfortable and most of all practical.
      Glad you're finding them both helpful and inspiring.
      BTW - the weather guessers are threatening -32° for using Friday 🥶

      I figured a pretty spot would help with the whole 'love boating' vibe 😁

    Nice faucet. I need to replace the faucet in the head of my boat.

      Are you going to replace it with another one that will let you use the shower feature, or juts have it service the vanity sink?

      Same here. As nice as our home port marina is, the boater's washrooms and showers are pretty nasty, so having a shower onboard is most welcome.
      Not sure if you saw my Cheap Shower upgrade I did on our 330 Dancer, but might help you out. Given that your 340 has the identical head/bathroom floorplan as our 330 did, this might be a good solution?? Let me know what you think;

      I'd suggest contacting them directly to discuss their shipping options. Other than that, I have no influence on their business practices...

    I take it you plumbed the cold water only and left out the hot? or did you put a Y connection on the cold so no matter which way you turn the handle cold water comes out?

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo
      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  Год назад

      Not sure why so many folks are having difficulty with the fact that it is COLD WATER ONLY. Check my other vid from when I did a similar replacement on our last boat. Same setup, same sink, same faucet style. ruclips.net/video/7nbVXZ5xj0k/видео.html

    Paul a quick question I want to replace the faucet on my Sundancer 310 when I look for a faucet to purchase all that I find have both hot and cold water. will these work or do they make one which just cold water. My sink only has cold water. Any help??
    An installation question. On my 2000 310 sundancer my sink does not have a cabinet under for access to the existing faucet. Other than taking the entire side panel off I'm thinking of removing the sink like you did. I'm concerned that I might not have enough drain hose to allow me to get the sink out, any thoughts?
    I appreciate your time
    George

      @@BoatingWithBoogaboo Paul as I said in my comment my boat is a 2000. Can you help with the faucet type
      Thanks

      Sounds like this simple project might be a little beyond your comfort zone??
      Take a look at my previous faucet installation video I did on our last Sundancer, complete with a look at the actual faucet - with ONLY a single water supply in (ruclips.net/video/7nbVXZ5xj0k/видео.html). I'm guessing you've only looked at places like Home Depot, etc., for a replacement.
      Given the vintage of your 310, I will strongly guess that it shares similar systems to our current 370, our last 330 and even our 400 Sedan Bridge. The most challenging part you will encounter is access to the underside of the sink/faucet mount, but shouldn't be an impossible job and again, I highly suggest that removing the sink or entire side panel wouldn't be necessary ;-)
      If you visit Sea Ray's main site, they have freely available owners manuals and parts manuals for pretty much every model built since the 1970's. Download the ones for your boat and study them. The answers you seek will be there.
      If you are not comfortable with a project like this, perhaps paying your marina an hour's labour might be an option. . .

    Our new to us 2001 340 Da. had the same useless faucet .

      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  Год назад

      I replaced it on our 330 Dancer as well. Both made it much more comfortable to actually use. Best part, only $40 from the Amazon jungle 😉
