    *My Grandfather used to say.."painted lures are to catch Fishermen, not fish"...He's been gone for over 40 years. Nice to see his words still ring true. This video is a rare and valuable look into the world of fishing lures. The fishing tackle industry has been ripping people off for decades and it just keeps getting worse. A little truth saying, exposing some of their tactics is long overdue*

    Good video ! You catch lots of fish. Can you show me how your jigs are tied on your line.

      Sure. I usually do a figure 8 loop with 1mm diameter. Let me know if that’s clear enough for you😎

    Great video! Nice experiment to see which they prefer. Recently I switched to a slip bobber rig to target crappie here in MA. Only bass so far, but feeling optimistic!

    Great video man! I noticed that a lot of the small fish ate the painted one, very interesting.

      Thanks. However the 3 way rig is only good for test, you’ll get it twisted most of the time🤪

    Do you have a video for that double jig setup?

    • @SteveChenFishing
      @SteveChenFishing  3 года назад

      I have a video for single jig setup.
      Double is just putting a three way swivel connection 😀

      @@SteveChenFishing great video and thanks for sharing. Is it better to make the two jigs different lengths or same length like showing in your video? I tried to tie 2 jigs in one line (the main line). Which way do you think is better? using two leaders or tie two jigs in one line? Thank you.

    • @SteveChenFishing
      @SteveChenFishing  3 года назад +1

      @@jeffgao4862 that’s a good question. On the same line up and down two jigs is much better. 1. You can target different depth, 2. Less tangled. I was doing it the same depth with 2 lines only because I want the jigs to be in the exact same position(depth) to make fair comparison.

    How deep is your slip bobber set?

  • @Ace-od5mv
    @Ace-od5mv 3 года назад +1

    Both jigs were so close together. Maybe try 2 jigs at 2 different depth and then switch the jibs.

    • @SteveChenFishing
      @SteveChenFishing  3 года назад

      Good idea. I was thinking the same in the beginning, however sometimes the depth you fish is crucial for the bites, so instead I put the jigs same depth same location same time to make it fair enough 😆

    • @Steve-rr3gc
      @Steve-rr3gc Год назад

      I just asked another RUclipsr if it mattered whether jigs heads were painted or not. I get tired of dipping the jig heads I make and wondered if it really mattered. But you have to fish them at the same depth to make it fair comparison
