i like that u mention the fish. it's gonna make it easy for me to remember later
Thanks for watching bro!
*My Grandfather used to say.."painted lures are to catch Fishermen, not fish"...He's been gone for over 40 years. Nice to see his words still ring true. This video is a rare and valuable look into the world of fishing lures. The fishing tackle industry has been ripping people off for decades and it just keeps getting worse. A little truth saying, exposing some of their tactics is long overdue*
Respect to your grandfather, he is 100% right!
Good video ! You catch lots of fish. Can you show me how your jigs are tied on your line.
Sure. I usually do a figure 8 loop with 1mm diameter. Let me know if that’s clear enough for you😎
Bro I love your videos, especially when you use ur under water camera catching crappies
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Will try my best to shoot more underwater videos 😆
Great video! Nice experiment to see which they prefer. Recently I switched to a slip bobber rig to target crappie here in MA. Only bass so far, but feeling optimistic!
Great! Good luck my friend. I’ll start fishing in MA this summer😁
Great video man! I noticed that a lot of the small fish ate the painted one, very interesting.
Cool! I wasn't paying attention to the size, good find out!!!
Nice work. Love the 3way rig will have to give it a try soon.
Thanks. However the 3 way rig is only good for test, you’ll get it twisted most of the time🤪
Good video, looks pretty even. Also a pretty successful trip. Well done.
Thanks buddy! It is pretty even, I was actually believing that painted should perform better🤣
I really enjoy it my Friend 24 fish and all good size fishes good Job Buddy 👍👊🙂🎣
Thanks bro! Next video I’ll compare the 1/16 and 1/32 oz jig, stay tuned! Tight lines!
@@SteveChenFishing go for it tight line 👊
Will do!
1/16 vs 1/32 would be an amazing video!
Please stay tuned 😁
Nice video. I actually bought some unpainted jig heads 1/32 ounce jigheads and watermelon sexee tail shads today. Looking forward to using them.
Wise choice! Tight lines!
Do you have a video for that double jig setup?
I have a video for single jig setup.
Double is just putting a three way swivel connection 😀
@@SteveChenFishing great video and thanks for sharing. Is it better to make the two jigs different lengths or same length like showing in your video? I tried to tie 2 jigs in one line (the main line). Which way do you think is better? using two leaders or tie two jigs in one line? Thank you.
@@jeffgao4862 that’s a good question. On the same line up and down two jigs is much better. 1. You can target different depth, 2. Less tangled. I was doing it the same depth with 2 lines only because I want the jigs to be in the exact same position(depth) to make fair comparison.
Enjoyed the vid 👍🏽 🎣
Thanks, so happy to hear that my friend!😎
Very nice and informative Steve. I still need to work on how to use artificial on crappies. Maybe im doing something wrong! :(
Keep trying you’ll like it!😃
😮
How deep is your slip bobber set?
Usually 3-5 ft
Both jigs were so close together. Maybe try 2 jigs at 2 different depth and then switch the jibs.
Good idea. I was thinking the same in the beginning, however sometimes the depth you fish is crucial for the bites, so instead I put the jigs same depth same location same time to make it fair enough 😆
I just asked another RUclipsr if it mattered whether jigs heads were painted or not. I get tired of dipping the jig heads I make and wondered if it really mattered. But you have to fish them at the same depth to make it fair comparison
