The early proof of Marty Wilson-Piper and Peter Koppes' dual-guitar brilliance - one of the best pairings I've ever known - and all that it would become as they kept getting better and better with experience, until lo and behold they reached their peak with Priest=Aura, IMO. It's wonderful to see this with Richard Ploog on drums, and the towering presence of Steve Kilbey and all that his songwriting genius would bring forth in the years to come - what a great band. I absolutely love these guys.

I am from America and I didn't get a chance to hear the early Church songs. But I love this band. I recently just heard the song "Sisters", and I didn't know the words, but I loved the music and melody and searched for the words. I love this period in the band's history. I have no idea where this came from but I thank my lucky stars that it is here!!!!!
My first experience was in 1991 (?) - The Church headlines with the UKs The Blue Aeroplanes (the band I knew and was craving to see). I had never heard of The Church. That show was at The Orpheum Theater in Boston and we were late. I MISSED the blue aeroplanes. Hell sake. We walked up to the venue and I was blasted (unbeknownst to me) with REPTILE. I think so). Pretty sure The Runners were the opening act, The Church in the middle and Moving Pictures were headlining on the back of their monster hit "What about me?".
