The best explanation so far of skip bo, greetings from México
Thank you so much! And hello from the Pacific Northwest!
One of mine and my cousins favorites to play when I was a kid!
I didn't play skip-bi growing up, but we had Flinch which is VERY similar! I love both!
I love playing skip bo
Yes! It's a great game!
@@TheAdventureSquad yes it is
This is such a good tutorial thank you!
Thank you so much! 😊
A really challenging and brain exercise way to play is the building pile has two piles counting from 1-12, the other two piles could down from 12 - 1... you might need a note above the piles to remind you which way you are going!
WOW I never thought of putting that spin on it! We may need to try that! Thanks for the suggestion! :)
@@TheAdventureSquad noproblem, it certainly.challenges the brain!
This game has similar mechanic of the famous card game namly "Russian Banc". I love it both!
I've never heard of that one, I'll have to look it up! It's also very similar to a game called "Flinch" which I love!
@@TheAdventureSquad I founded the game Flinch in the Amazon from UK. But it is very expencive.
@@TheAdventureSquad I gave a look on the game, and i think that is possible to play with a normal card deck. Am I corrected?
@@TheAdventureSquad Flimch is a nice, nice game. I saw The tutorial.
Show this game for us, please!
@Antônio Zumpano you could make your own version using a regular deck of cards. Flinch is almost the same except you don't have any "wild/skip bo" cards
Congratulations! Your how to play videos are amazingly clear and easy to follow. Best I've seen. Would you be able to do one on how to play Labyrinth?
Thank you for checking out my videos! I've never played Labyrinth! I'll have to look into it!
Thank you so much! Really helpfull
Thanks that is helpful. I still don't understand why each player has 4 discard piles each. What is the point of that since there is no order to laying them down?
You can only take the top card of each of your discard piles. You can't use a card that is underneath the top card, until you use that top card. This means some strategy is needed when you discard. Some people like to have the same number forming one of their discard piles, such as all 3's if they have a lot of 3's. Other people like to stack cards in descending order so they can be played in a row and make longer runs using more cards. Having 4 discard piles just allows more cards to play to help get rid of your assigned stack of cards.
Amazing game
I need to play skip-bo cards 2 peoples
I would like a video explaining when you play with a partner
Excellent tutorial thank you
Thank you! We are actually playing skip bo right now! It's our kiddos favorite!
❤❤❤❤
Nice.
Thank you RJ!
What if the first player doesn't have 1 or skipbo card ? Or none of the players have.. then how do you start the game ??
They would simply discard a card from their hand to end their turn. On their next turn they would draw a new card which could be a 1 or Skip-bo card.
Correct! It can make a slow start to the game, but eventually someone gets a 1 or skip-bo! :)
