New York City, which is one of the most popular tourist cities on earth. It is dirty, packed full of homelessness, falling apart and tons of crime. Paris and London are the SAME! We are not paid one single cent for making these videos, we have all our receipts.
We should think twice about labelling the modern western world as something to look up to.

There are many reasons why China is misunderstood. First, some Western countries led by the United States do not like things that are different from them, especially political systems and religious beliefs. They lack tolerance and equality; second, China's rapid progress has made some The country feels very uncomfortable. They have lost their long-standing sense of superiority and pride as the center of the world, resulting in jealousy and even hatred. Thirdly, most of the major social software and media on the Internet are controlled by Americans. For a long time, they have been encouraging Content that vilifies China while limiting the dissemination of content that is beneficial to China. Therefore, I want to pay tribute to you for showing you the real China. You can also point out things you feel uncomfortable. As long as it is objective and fair, we can accept it with an open mind and continue to improve.

In China, Kilograms called "gong jin"(公斤) or "qian ke"(千克), but Chinese weight scaling is different, called "hua jin"(华斤, Chinese jin) or "shi jin"(市斤, Market jin), or you can simply named it "jin" (斤) in China, all the same.
1 "jin" is equivalent to 500 grams, means 1 Kilograms (gong jin) = 2 jin, so when someone told you ¥35 for 1 jin, means ¥70/Kg. it's easy to convert.
Love your channel, hope this helps. Have a nice trip.
(Some old Englishman may also like to call "jin" "catty" and "shi jin" "city catty", which also means half a Kg or 500 grams, but in order to avoid misunderstanding, I think it is better to call it "jin" for your future travel😂)

They have to return to Chunxi Road since they did not hit the 2 most emblematic places in the area, the ISF mall: where they saw the body of the panda behind the building is the entrance to the ISF mall and there is a level where they can see the head and the rest of the panda It is on a terrace that is very beautiful. Second: Taikoo Li.
Taikoo li is an open-air area where you will find many shops, and in the back part integrated into the shopping center you will find the Daci Temple, a super beautiful Maoist temple that you should visit.

The price of fruit is 70 one kilogram, and "kilogram" {1000 grams} is the unified unit of measurement in China. However, there are many places where "jin" {500 grams} is commonly used, which can cause confusion for those who are not familiar with it. Therefore, before buying, it is important to ask clearly. The man in the video initially mentioned 35 as the price of 500 grams, and later mentioned 70 as the price of 1000 grams. Buy in small quantities and give it a try. The price of 70 yuan per kilogram is not expensive. If you buy in large supermarkets or farmers' markets, the price will be cheaper.

Hi~ I live in another province but regularly go to Chengdu City several times a year, just to visit frineds and walk around.
If you guys are interested in some more updated and cultural local places to chill out and also for filming, I would highly recommend Taikoo Li Chengdu(成都太古里) and Tiexiang Temple Riverfront(铁像寺水街). It is very characteristic commercial planning combining with buddhism temple, local life style in an open air surrounding. Nice landscape and atmosphere. I don't have to present much here, cause it will definitely surprise you guys at the first sight. Besides, would be better experience to go in the afternoon though, and the expense would be a bit higher inside the area. But you can easily find very fair price food and drinks around it.
Chengdu is very interesting (probably as much as any old cities in China, but it is the one I am most familiar with) and it still feels like a lot to explore after having been there like ten times.
Thanks for the video. Hope you guys enjoy~

Hi guys, love your videos, I have a little suggestion to you two, don't just stay in the downtown areas, they are just looks the same everywhere you go. As you guys will spend some time in chengdu, go check out the park where there has teahouse, where you will see how chengdu is famous for their laidback life style is. Go check out the book store and the museum, and don't forget to the countryside, it is the most worth place to visit in my opinion. Good luck and enjoy your staying in chengdu.

I really like your videos, as a Chinese, I really like Chendu too. But I think you missed the real city center of Chunxi Road, near the shopping mall and pedestrian street you have been, there is a shopping center named Taikoo Li, and there's a temple in Taikoo Li, it's really good and you can go there in the daytime and don't forget to have a chinese tea in the temple. The big panda which is climbing the building is also a very good shopping mall named IFS, IFS and Taikoo Li are the typical new shopping center in Chengdu (in this ten years), in my opinion, they are much better than the shoppingmall in Singapore and Japan...

@@JohnSmith-sm7ez You really don't think it's a paradox? Maybe you will think that my comments as a Chinese are biased. I admit that the Chinese government is certainly not perfect, and nothing is perfect. But if a government that is so bad in your mind can make the city so clean and tidy and safe and prosperous, but a better government in your mind makes your own country more and more dirty and unsafe. Isn't that a paradox? I don't think my review will change your mind about China very much, just that I hope people reading this review will think more independently about what a place you haven't been to is really like.
