Nice, objective review. Good point about ordering food from departing city. When I fly airlines that are not American I always order the cuisine of the airline's native country(i.e. Japanese menu on JAL or ANA.) I've found it to be much better than the "Western options" . Also, I've always received better cabin service from Asian airlines than U.S.based airlines. Their flight attendants seem to enjoy their jobs and provide friendly, warm and professional service. I could tell you some horror stories of being "barked at" by numerous United FA's on their trans-Pacific flights over the years. Whenever possible, I don't fly any U.S. based airlines internationally, it's just too unpleasant.

Hahaha United Polaris is a joke! The seats are totally outdated, the food is as bad as it gets, wine selection is awful and the flight attendants all have such a bad attitude. No one should spend any money on Polaris
You have said the truth, but they make so much money they have little incentive to improve. United Airlines saw its net income rise from $737 million in 2022 to $2.6 billion in 2023.
