Do you sit or stand to play? I've been using them for a few weeks now and still getting lots of miss hits cause I stand to play and seem to come down on them from too directly on top rather than rolling my foot onto them like I would if I was sitting down. I'm sure I'll get used to them, but definitely an adjustment.
Great question; I do both, but my acoustic set is a lot more of a lounge feel, so I do tend to sit on my cajon and play more than I stand. However, when I do stand, I still haven't experienced any issues with these toppers. Is your RC-600 on the floor when you play? Mine is mounted on my pedalboard, which is raised slightly off the ground. Because the angle is slightly different when the RC is a little higher, this might help? Maybe other users can post here if they have experienced similar issues to you.
Interested in these toppers? Check them out here
