The music when the deku tree passes is tragic. A lot of the music was, I feel like majoras mask invoked even more emotion of dread, that one was a great sequel. And all the rumors of link having died in the beginning and the skull kid in the forest. The whole theme of the game, sadness, lost childhood, there’s some amazing videos about how complex the game was. There was so much mystery to Majora while OOT was adventure perfection. Man, these games were masterpieces. I can’t believe Scott hadn’t beat them (5 years ago anyways), showed his age.
Zack is the man But he said it in the moment when he was talking about interiors and exteriors The exteriors of GTA IV are bland and you can't go to many interiors either. But GTA V exteriors compensate the lack of interiors by a mile
Scott the Woz is a huge fan of youtuber Storm Dain, and I suspect he got his opinions from that guy's GTA IV review: He REALLY hated the driving for the same reasons, that it felt too stiff and realistic for his tastes, even grousing at people saying that he needed to get used to it.
That's not true, he figured out how to do a nollie. I'm actually impressed he managed to make it to the second level basically doing only that trick and spinning around.
@Ken Norcott I hard disagree with this common opinion, but I didn't always disagree, until I did. GTA 4's driving feels so much more realistic and satisfying than GTA 5 after I came back to it. All cars in GTA 5 were made to accelerate, brake, and handle almost like F1 cars, whereas in GTA 4, while still very much unrealistic compared to racing sims, they nailed the fun to realistic ratio, with more of realistic. They acted more like what their real life counter part would act like, with good weighty controls, much more realistic acceleration, braking, and handling compared to previous games while still being accessible. *(body roll seems like a big complaint for the driving as it's marked as unrealistic too, but let me assure you, that's very close to real life for those old cars. Back then it was body roll galore when you really tugged on the steering wheel, because nobody cared about handling, just a big engine and decent power.)* Both 5 & 4 are as good as the other to me, but as a "car guy" I tend to prefer GTA 4 more. I think most people hated the driving because it was too realistic compared to older games, so I'm pretty sure this won't be enough to change anyone's opinions. For me it was the perfect balance.
@Ken Norcott Yeah, I totally get that. GTA games to me have always felt like they were going to become hyper realistic in every way, but after GTA 4, most people realized they didn't want that and rockstar wanted to appeal to everyone. This has happened to tons of franchises, for the better (More sales). But also for the worse for enthusiasts. A prime example would be monster hunter world, it simplifies the game a lot and older fans hate it, but newcomers love it due to ease of access and much better graphics, so it sold very well. Scott doesn't look like much of a car guy, so he prefers arcade-y experiences. But to me GTA 5 overdoes it and makes the cars feel incredibly bland, and without personality.
@@TexelGuy They hate it. Because they expect to just press peddle and car must run good on it's own. You have to master mechanics like in csgo (I know, I cannot think any better example). But, Most of people dislike only they never touch brake in gta. V has online, So I understand they had to make it like f1, Still iv is masterpiece and very well fits with dark story. Those who just want fun like in v and sa won't like it. But, that game still had it's pen uniqueness
graphically dated? pft, that wont stop me from stealing a banshee, whacking on rise fm and driving off into the distance as claude. (im not crying - you're crying)

_Yes, someone who agrees with me on Ocarina of Time and the Zelda series as a whole!_ I enjoy so many aspects of it and I keep wanting to get back into it, but it's one of those franchises where I binge the game for a couple days, but then I play something else and don't pick it back up for another 2-6 months. (Please don't hate me for saying this.)
Pegalux I haven't touched Skyward Sword in more than a year because I was stuck and now I fear that I won't know where I am and where I'm supposed to go when I pick it up. That's why Breath of the Wild is my favorite. You can go in any direction you like and still advance in some way.
Pegalux I'll get to the end of a the game but I won't have all the hearts and items so I try looking for them but then I put it off for months or years.
I dont think ive ever seen a run of so many high quality games. Personally i think 1, 2, 3 and 4 are better than anything that came after but i wont deny that Neversoft really gave a shit about it.
Yeah, I still remember getting Ocarina. It was right before Thanksgiving (I want to say it was the day before, in fact), I called down to our local shopping mall's Electronic's Boutique just to see if they happened to get it in, and to my genuine surprise, they had two. And the mall was obviously going to be crowded over a holiday. I asked them if they could hold it, and they said they could, but not for too long, and they could only justify it if I could get there within the hour. It was a half-hour drive that I made in seventeen minutes, and spent most of Thanksgiving playing the game. I can't really fault people for saying it's the greatest game of its generation, or even of all time, but I also can't help but point out that I prefer every single mainline game in the series that's come out since, with the possible exception of Majora. The complete freedom of the original TLoZ is why that game is still my favorite in the series, and OoT is notable to me not just for how on rails it is, but how on rails it _feels_ (I mean, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are no less on rails, but there's something about the types of ludonarrative activities in those games that make them feel less so; Ocarina had heart pieces and gold skultullas, the latter of which were utterly useless beyond a point). But I certainly didn't notice it at the time. Damnit, now I want to play OoT again. Even though I've still only ever barely started BotW.
The best car controls, I loved just making a spin whil high speed driving. The phisics were awesome and destuction model for cars was better than gta 5

@your face reminds me when I stepped on a burrito 3 By more "bland" you mean more gritty and dark? GTA IV's story and atmosphere is amazing, it may not have the beautiful scenery and colors of GTA V but that is what Rockstar was going for. Same with the controls of cars, speaking of which the physics are what make GTA IV GTA IV. It may not have as much clothing items you can buy or a proper online mode filled with a terrible economy so you can waste your time and money trying to be the best in Online or whatever. But GTA IV makes up for it in its theme, story, atmosphere, and physics.

Men I see your video and I thought you might have like 100 000 subs, but you only have 1000, that's sad really, but just keep the great work and I sure you will gain a lot more.
It's better in the realism department But it does it kind of poorly. It's basically So realistic it takes away from the fun. And GTA V was still kind of realistic but it was unrealistic where it needed to be so the game would actually be fun to play
You definitely need to play GTA 4 all the way through. The driving may be clunky but you'll get used to it as you progress. It may not have the same fun world as the other GTAs but it's meant to be more story oritented and the story is an amazing crime story. I think it gets too much hate because no one likes the first impression it gave off.
GTA IV is so mixed because it doesn’t quite feel like a GTA game, rather its own thing. Some love it for its approach, others want a game more loyal to the GTA formula, which is why some people prefer V over IV.
Perfect Dark is my favorite game in the world, I still play it to this day and the soundtrack still blows me away. I have yet to find a game that gives me the same feels that Perfect Dark does

Absolutely true what you say about Perfect Dark for first time as an adult. I tried playing original on N64, it does not tell you where to go, and its an absolute maze.
It's weird. As a kid I was able to navigate the levels no problem and beat the game multiple times. As an adult it seems near impossible without a video walkthrough lol
Okay Halo CE imo is better than you give it. It holds up very well. Even graphically, the art style is just fantastic. The environments are so grandiose and alien. The game play is just so smooth and robust still feels amazing today, and is just plain fun. And you gave credit to other games for being innovative in their respective genres. Halo CE was incredibly innovative when it came to shooters. The controls, the weapon limit, the shields. Also the open environments changed the game from the corridor shooters of old. This also forced them to develop groundbreaking AI to work in these environments. All these among other innovations that would influence every single shooter game that came after it. I think Halo CE more than earned it's spot on this list, and is more than just a great game. But I mean opinions amiright
What was innovative about halo controls? Both alien resurrection and timesplitters did it before halo. Hell open spaces have been since doom and deus ex had huge open spaces with stealth systems and advanced ai. Halo was nothing special not even for consoles.

OOT 3d is my favourite way to play the game because of the graphics. The only problems that i have with it are that it removed blood from the shsdow temple and the well, and made it quite empty. The other problem is the controls. The best controls for this game were on the gamecube rerelease, and thats a fact.
I remember me and my dad used to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 every day until late into the night. It was the first game on an actual console I had ever played and it blew my 8 year old brain away. 10:50 and also it had the best story of the series, including the story expansions which are brilliant. But I agree with a lot of things you said. While there is a lot of detail, it just isn't that fun to go on a rampage and it tries to be too realistic and serious.

The driving in GTA 4 made it amazing. Drifting Corners, and messing with the realistic physics was great. GTA V lacked that.
Gta 4 has abysmal driving dude. I don’t understand why people like the driving in it

*HEY YA'LL, Z TIER*
Ocean?
@@TexelGuy They hate it. Because they expect to just press peddle and car must run good on it's own. You have to master mechanics like in csgo (I know, I cannot think any better example). But, Most of people dislike only they never touch brake in gta. V has online, So I understand they had to make it like f1, Still iv is masterpiece and very well fits with dark story.
