Yes Absolutely your Oak Board's really would make some very Beautiful Cabinet's for a Kitchen !
You kids are wonderful. The way you work together, farm together, and play together speaks volumes. I under go back surgery on the 29th of April and look forward to you videos during my recovery. God Bless you both.
Beautiful work and lumber 👏👏👏👏
Consider the debarker for the saw mill. Bark is rough on saw blades. Unless you're milling for the live edge.
the grain is beautiful lots of contrast gkl
That is some beautiful grain out of that oak log. I agree with your wife, it would make a nice dining room table also. Great videos guys. Steve
Nice sawing and beautiful lumber👍 We have a lot of red and white oak where I live in northeastern Pennsylvania. Average diameter is 22-24 inches for harvest. 16 inches and under usually goes for railroad ties or pallet runners or firewood. Good video.
Oak is very beautiful with the right stain or just clear coated I agree .
Beautiful slabs
Every log is different and most of the ones that I've cut have had something special or unique in em.
Where I live in the Missouri Ozarks, Oak is the predominant species and with several subspecies there is plenty of variety of grain and colors. Of course, quarter sawn oak is my absolute favorite to use in woodworking. I don't have a mill so I'm not able to do my own sawing and finding someone to quarter saw for me isn't easy. Taking a blackjack oak to a saw mill in a week or so and can't wait to see what come from it. Yes, oak is beautiful wood. Although walnut is very common here, I don't choose to make stuff with it other than the chessboards that I make.
Very nice wood
There are many good and beautiful things to watch and look closely at. Timbers is one such beauty that the world gives us, when we are lucky enough to find it. Thanks for the treat, keep safe and mind that dust!
That Oak would make a beautiful whisky cabinet.
Nice log
Big oak in Wisconsin. Two years ago we quarter cut a 42 in white oak 11 ft 6 in old growth for sure
I enjoyed the hardwood also. It would be nice to see you make something out of the hardwood like a table like Britney suggested.
I'm glad to see Brittany back wearing shorts. That means warmer weather is coming this way
I like your videos
I agree with Brit. That would fantastic table top.
Like thoses wide boards you cut, Make a nice bar top
Log turner has to be the best money spent. Wonderful. Phil 5:17

Beautiful Grain
Fun to watch the sawmill do its thing!
It is the most beautiful wood that makes good project with
It’s a great log I used to have my own tree service company but now I’m retired but looking at this picture makes me happy to see what you can do with the wood thank you for sharing
That oak is my favorite. Those 12" boards would make a gorgeous book case.
good day Tyler and Britt at timestamp 11:48 i could really see a kitchen table out of that
I am an old fellow Mississippian and back in the 1950's and '60's I have seen some of the most beautiful furniture made from this type of wood. It was called Red Oad, and the old timers called it Golden Oak as well. When this kind of oak is finished out right it is not only beautiful but it will last indefinitely. You just can't beat it.
Big and beautiful.
Nice log. It made some beautiful boards.
Them edgers are very nice when sawmilling. Love that beautiful red oak have alot of that up here in Michigan. Great video's and thanks for sharing.
Guys, from Utrecht in the Netherlands. I'am following you quite some time now! In the past i was the lumber purchaser in the Netherlands at Wickes (US sub.) building DIY. Some of it came from the northeast US and Canada, but most of it from Sweden and Finland. I love al the things about Lumber. That's why i follow "working horses with Jim" in the northern part of New York state, quite a while now. Amercan oak (quercus rubra)is frequently found in the Netherlands, but is not native. Our native oaks are Q. petrarca en Q. robur. Both are more "whitish" than the American. Anyway i keep following you. It's a pity i cannot smell the lumber while sawing. Especialy the pines and certainly the cedars😊 Well good luck and keep sawing, Rob
love it
Nice video
Nice job. Beautiful material. Like that you guys do this as a couple!
Wow, amazing expertise and wood.
Thank you very much!
Nice wood. As you said there is a lot of work into making it into furniture wood.
good bideo and job really nice lumber take care, be safe and well.
absolutely gorgeous! And the Woodgrains not bad either! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇮🇱
Beautiful log!
very nice lumber
Hello from central ms
Those two live edge slabs were as pretty as any 1/4 sawn slabs as any I've seen on RUclips. More sawyers should 1/4 saw as much as possible. That's where the money is.
Beautiful wood.
For somebody who primarily cuts only ordinary pine, I bet it is a treat to cut some nice oak or any of the nice hardwoods like this.
Good job and it was a beautiful grain.
From Australia. A high end cabinet maker here, would probably make a matching Dining Table and a Buffet or a Buffet and Hutch. It would look brilliant with a clear epoxy finish or french polished.
It was very beautiful.I wish I had some of it at my house
Lots of Douglas fir up here in British Columbia !! Many trees 7 or 8 feet diameter !! Hard to move and cut. The wedge cutout to fell them , can be 200 pounds weight …. Love the video mix, bravo.
Thanks for watching along!
I build live edge tables . I’d love to have those slabs .
Beautiful
That is a very huge log 🪵 and beautiful grain also , you can make some great pieces of furniture 🪑 with this oak !! 🤩👍👀
Great job to both of you
Nice boards
High Dollar wood right there!
THOSE ARE SOME WICKED SLABS
Years ago I used to haul those big ones in the northwest. I still love too see wood being sawed and reveal the woodgrain.
Looks awesome

The heart of the log tells it all. Nice log 👌
Love milling Oak. It’s always like a present to open one up. Very beautiful and durable.
Couldn't agree more!
That is some beautiful wood. I would build end tables, nightstands. coffee tables and even cupboards with it. The uses are endless.
That was a gorgeous log with awesome grain.
As a wood turner, I wish I was closer. Those knots look like they could be fun!
Gorgeous grain on that lumber! and almost totally clear too. It would make a fine table, for sure. A pleasure to see it and the excellent cutting. Really enjoyed the video. Cheers!

Beautiful grain and would be great furniture.
Red oak and cherry are my two favorites to work with right now. Need to get some black walnut up on the 122.
O😮 wow beautiful wood you two are awesome 😊 love the videos Brittany 🤩and Tyler love your bike also bro anyway y'all be safe around the saw Karl from TENNESSEE ✌️
Nice log. If you want it for a table, 5/4 is not thick enough. Make it 9/4 and you would have the perfect thickness after planing and finishing for a heritage table.
Beautiful grain!! Always enjoy you two!
Very nice looking wood. Well done.
Beautiful lumber for sure.
Love watching you two working that's some beautiful boards 😊
those "knobs" you cut off at the beginning would make for some good wood turning projects.
