I can't stand all of the modern all glass structure mansions. I just never want to see beautiful mansions and homes this this one be torn down. I'm broke, but if I had the money, I would purchase this estate.

I love this classic style house. I don't care for the modern look that everyone goes for today. The dark tones and woods give an opulent taste opposed to the basic white all the other houses you show have. The house seems more east coast than California and I'm from NY which might explain why I like it.
My god, if I could afford that, the only thing I could foresee changing is the living room in the master suite to a private office. Otherwise, I would leave it as is. The history, the art in the details, how it has basically been flawless in design for over 80 years, this place is perfect. Of course this is only a pipe dream.

I'd buy this house just for how much land it comes it. I'd definitely do some renovations though. The tennis court need to have a blue sky surface. And I'd redecorate the whole house, it feels too outdated. Plus the formal dining room is too small.
