Mr Richard Gene, I have watched probably all of your videos and have enjoyed them immensely. This the first time I have commented on any of your videos and I just want to say "TAKE ME FISHING WITH YOU". I am 65 years old and have fished the Tn. and Coosa rivers my whole life and have lots of fish stories. It would be great to have a story about the time I went fishing with Richard Gene The Fishing Machine.
@andrew I fish Lake Weiss in Alabama which is noted for the Crappie Capitol of the Word and I catch plenty of fish. Most of the time I catch a limit of 30. I just think it would be fun fishing with this crazy ole guy.
@andrew No thanks. I'm a mountain boy raised n the hills next to Tennessee river. Oklahoma is too flat for me. The area I am in has a really good DNR who keeps the lakes and streams stocked when they get low on a particular species.
We like to use those “Roadrunners” during the Spring run of White Bass here on the Detroit River….😀. And, I’d like to give you a compliment; what a pleasure it is to see you finding fish, and catching fish, the old fashioned way! No cheating with technology (Panoptix, etc.)!! Young people need examples like yours to really learn about our sport. Thank you Sir!
You make fishing look easy....I know it isn't, but I'm learning a lot from your shows. I do all bank fishing here in the Houston area with my son and we have a great time. LOTS of little ponds around us and we get some bass, Crappie, bluegill and catfish. Keep sending those videos I love'em!
Mr,, i really really like your videos, i being learning a lot from you,not many people really wants to tell they secrets, but you, you are one of the best to splain w, details, one of the most things i like from your videos is the funny faces and muves you make,😂😂😂😂thank you for entertain other fishermans, thank you sr.....
Another great one Richard. I watched this with my 3 year old granddaughter and she was mesmerized. She even laughed with you when Elmo hauled in a crappie. I may have a new fishing buddy in the making.
Morning, noon, and night. I watch The Fishing Machine. Shoot i woke up at 2am last night and started watching. You have some of the very best fishing on RUclips. I love the whole presentation. Thank you!
Mr. Gene you've done it again. I live in the Tennessee Valley myself and enjoy the opportunities that we have as far as bodies of water to fish and hope I'm able to get after more this year.
Hi Richard. I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba , Canada. our weather today is -37 C or -34 F with a windchill factor of -52 C or -61 f. The ice on Lake Winnipeg will be getting 48" inches thick soon. You should come up and do an ice fishing video. We use big underspins on the Red River and on Lake Winnipeg for Greenback Walleye that can grow to 10 to 14 bls.
Richard what so good about you vids is not only seeing different techniques to catch fish. But no matter what kind of day you have had you can put a smile on everyone face . thank you some days that is a lot.
Good Grief !!!!! Those Shellcracker will be some mighty fine eating,,, And those croppie are Perfect size,, great catch... and YAAYYYYYYY you remembered your net !!!!!!!! Be careful out there and Fish On.. Great Video... Thanks for sharing...
Loved the video. It's great to finally see Elmo catch a fish and a BIG crappie at that. I haven't used an under-spin for a while now. Guess it's time to give it a try again.
Your the one putting out the videos and you make people laugh that is key i love your channel there aint another one on youtube the same as Richard Gene the fishing machine
Richard I’m from Scottsboro and fish some of the places you do .wish I was as good at it as you but have a lot of fun .thank you for all the great tips and all the fun I have watching your videos .
I'm getting the boat ready, found my 1959 rebuilt Shakesphere 9' rod and rigged it double, jig on top and crappie gold long shank hook on bottom with 1/8 weight between. The reel is a micro spin reel, under slung, that must have had 2# test on it. It was new and I liked to never got it rigged. Couldn't see the line for crap! Getting new Hi-vis line later. Enjoyed this vid.... keep em comming!
That was awesome Richard! I really need to go fishing with you. I have yet to catch a crappie but I really just started fishing. Watching you as well as others do your thing has built a thirst for fishing. Thanks for letting me into your world. Keep on posting and I’ll keep on watching and learning.
Great video Richard Gene! I’m getting caught up on my Richard Gene videos while getting my first chemo treatment for colon cancer! Keep em coming! A big salute to you from upstate S.C.!
Man ever since I came across ONE of ur videos I subscribed to ur channel and its awesome how much its grown! I just love how famous a good ol boy from the Tenn Valley can get just by fishing! Its awesome!!! Keep fishing cuz it's definitely GOOD FIR YA!!!
You caught you an mass of crappie an shellcrakers .Good job.Your and great fisherman. I need to go fishing with someone like you that I know and remember go fishing way you can because it's good for you!
I think M. Night Shyamalan got his idea for his character "The Horde aka. The Beast" from the movies {Split and Glass} from watching Richard Gene do his thing...I swear he mutates into a whole different dude/entity for those few seconds.....LOL!...and I love it!
Hey Richard first time commenting. I found your channel in Nov 2017 and watch everyone of your videos. I’ve put at least 15 people on your videos. I’ve learned so much about crappie fishing and have put a lot more crappie in the boat since watching you and your videos. I’m from South central Kentucky and fish Nolin Lake. Your Good People and keep the videos a coming!🎣😊
Man I love how you detail all the conditions you're fishing in that way we can learn better other RUclipsrs can learn a lot from you Richard keep up the good work
Hello Elmo. I live in TN to. Yes we’ve got some cold cold weather comin the rest of the week. I took a under spin and put a bigger blade on it works great I’ve caught some largemouth on it so far last week. I’m having trouble finding the crappy though. I’ll find them.
As always Richard great video brother. Them good eatin size for sure. Had a blast watching you catch them mondos. Wish I was on the Tennessee river with ya but.... Ill try to represent Georgia like you do yours. Keep em coming elmo
I reckon that I've watched every video you've made but I think that this one is my favorite. Wooo wooo wooo, you ain't cool til your Richard Gene cool. Keep it up man, I sure enjoy it! I fished the same spot your fishing Saturday and didn't catch a single crappie, but did catch some Jumbo Magnum White bass. That was okay because I don't care what I'm catchin, cause it's good fer me!
Thanks Richard, your videos are my escape from boredom. I ain't got many underspins but a have a passel of beetle spins. I gotta get out there and see if they work as good.
@@Jesuslovesyou929 up that way I'm not sure what they have been catching lately, but by then I would think the crappie would be good like here in Pickwick. Alot just really depends on this weather brother, was like 70º two days ago and now hardly getting into the 40's lol. By the first of April though it should definitely be good for them and bass both. All the rain we have had has the water up higher than normal for this time of year where TVA is having to move it. Unfortunately the bite has been rough because of all the insects with the run off.
As soon as you start that "Guide Service" I wanta put my reservation in ! 🐟🐟👍🇺🇸
$150 for 4 hrs would be worth it.. just sayin
k perrin it would be worth that if I didn't catch a fish , just to fish with " The Machine "
Me too
andrew this is his job.. don’t watch the videos if you don’t like it. Pretty simple
Oohw wee !
Richard just want to let you know you inspire me more than anybody has in a long time thanks
One of the best crappie fishermen I’ve ever seen!
