Women also want to be respected. Sometimes the men enjoy the respect given to them so so much that they forget to reciprocate it, and rather begin to "look down" (in luganda to kujooga) their partner.
And on the point of communication, men should remember to also communicate in our love language/ be more attentive to our needs.

I hear your Husband, Steve is it . When he says peace is key to men. I respect that.... but I also believe that men should be willing to invest peace in the home. Don't be wanting peace but your always creating opportunities for unrest. Some men's interpretation of peace is doing all the things that ensure unrest and expect the woman to keep silent and shock absorb. So peace is key, but it's an investment aswell.

Lisa, you are very correct. This locking of doors, it seems a small thing, but it plays a major role. A lot of women later complain in their marriages that the man leaves everything in the home for them, I always say if you start locking the doors, he interprets it as you being able and not needing his help.
He will let you do everything 😂😂
Oh God, I have been locking doors since and he even has to ask me if I have closed everywhere. I may lock them forever because eeeh
