This is a great video review Ethos has been greatly upgraded since this video. And it's going to be even more updated very, very soon.

So it’s been a year since this video was made. What is your unbiased opinion about the X20 overall quality, durability, and performance thus far? How is the Ethos OS working out? Do you know if the MPM (DSMX) protocol module is available now? Am thinking of switching from my Spektrum NX8 to this X20. Thanks! 👍

Excellent review! Very informative, in fact this is one of the best review on the Ethos system I've seen. You do need a better camera though.

nice overview, but as a non user a little unclear on the various mixing set ups compared to what I used to. would you recommend for a first time FRsky user?

Excellent video, very informative. If you make another one please don't turn the screen's brightness up to 100% & then leave it there. The screen's text was much easier to read earlier in the video. Actually the white background theme was the best. Great video though, thank you.

Hi, nice video..just wanted to know if the internal Bluetooth module can be used to connect to a ground station (laptop) running Mission Planner, like a conventional telemetry unit

Hi, I am planning to buy one. Did anyone test what is the range in just 2.4 GHz before telemetry is lost and before signal alert? Thanks!

Am o the only one wondering if anyones considered that with TD running 900 and 2.4ghz on long range, 1.3ghz vtx is gonna be smack dab on the middle. Has then been tested and reviewed, a live in hills and forest, 1.3 is my go to

did anyone get it to bluetooth link telemetry to the phone? I can't see the bluetooth name even though it's turned on in the Tx
nothing coming out of the F.Port plug in the back either that you can connect a bluetooth transmitter to either?
Just updated to the latest version and still no joy.

Why do ya call this free-sky? Says fr-sky on the front of this radio

      Most people call it that.

I emailed FrSky and asked. They said in the response that it is pronounced "free sky".

There is no "ee" in the name. If you pronounce "F" and "R" you get "FAR"!
Rather than call it "Furskee", we call it "Far-Sky". Just sayin'

It was literally a language barrier thing. When they made the English logo they literally misspelled it and it stuck. Atleast that’s the story I’ve always heard, and having tried to call and email multiple Chinese companies I have no reason not to believe it.

Sure it's comparable with ACCST until you attempt to bind to a ACCST receiver. BS! Frsky!

I don’t know why y’all blame them, they literally had two parasite companies on the clone plan, ripping off everything they made as they made it, RM and jumper invested nothing in R&D. Why do you think they’re hq’d inShenzhen? That’s the pcb reverse engineering capitol of the world, in fact they’re next door to one of these factories, look up pcb cloning they’ll copy any rx or fc you want, and it’s cheap. I could start a company doing that if I wanted. Then everyone buys the TX16 because it’s cheaper, well yeah it’s cheaper, they didn’t have to pay anyone to engineer the damn thing. Then finally FrSky got sick of their IP getting stolen everyday by a guy accross the street. So they did what he couldn’t and closed source rather than go under from RM profiting off them…….then!!!!! Y’all all started attacking FrSky, and everyone still talks about crap about them for protecting their company, then go buy the radio and receivers they designed from the dude that stole them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍talk about their ethics. This is why I don’t buy RM.

Guess you've forgotten or choose to ignore that FrSky stole ACCST from Futaba, copied JR radio design, and used open source (openTX) software and now get pissed when someone else does the same. I didn't see Futaba crying, they simply continued to do what they do best. Make better systems than the competition and don't try and sabotage their older systems from working on other platforms.
