- In this video, I upgrade the old traveler track and car on my sailboat to a new Harken traveler kit. This upgrade allows me to adjust the mainsail traveler car from the cockpit, eliminating the need to move out onto the deck. Join me as I walk you through the installation process, showcasing the benefits of this new system and how it enhances sail control and overall sailing experience. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a DIY enthusiast, this video will provide valuable insights and tips for upgrading your own sailboat.

Constant upgrades 😬
I didn't notice the dishes... I'm here for the how to stuff :)
Hahaha thanks 🙏
I have an older version of that traveller and love it. Adjust it all the time as it's so easy, it'll last you a very long time!
Agreed. Awesome upgrade 👍
Cool Dolphin footage Tymon!
Cheers Muddy!!
Great work!
Cheers mate
@@slightadrift looking forward to seeing you in Panama Beach Florida soon!
Hahaha sounds good 👍 although we might be waiting a while 😁
Great channel……….the world needs more electric sailboats.
Agreed 🍻
First, figure out a way for electricity to be stored more efficiently than heavy lithium ion batteries and produced faster than solar or wind. Until then, hybrid systems are coming up. Check out Distant Shores’ new build.
If you’re trying to have a like for like swap then yes, electric (batteries mainly) is not quite there but I get on just fine without my diesel. Not only that. I don’t miss it 😁
Cheers for the comments 🍻
fair winds to sydney!
When compared to the yacht in front @0:37, trust the windlass wasn't supporting the mooring buoy weight outta the water.
My Aunt lives in Foster, one of Many beautiful places along the central coast.
I never noticed the dirty dishes, expected from a (presumed) heterosexual bloke. Maybe Marley was hinting that she'd happily do them for you😉
Are your dodger windows glass or plexiglass
Glass
Did you apply any tefgel or duralac to the stainless bolts in the aluminium track?
Shit actually no. Thanks for picking that up Brock 🙏
