The Hu already had their song written. Then they gave it to Lzzy and told her not to worry about the translation of their lyrics, but to just treat their voices like other instruments and to write her own lyrics. So this is actually kinda like two independent songs happening at the same time.
If I was to summarise the Mongol culture, it would be along the lines of "destroy your enemies, and respect the women in your life" I've also seen a quote that was attributed to Chengis, which was "no man can be Khan to his mother". No idea of the accuracy but it seems fitting.
The one they do with LP is another great one Mother Nature. They are using the proceeds of the song to plant trees across Mongolia 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Also Black Thunder ft Serj Tankian & DL of Bad Wolves is really good. Serj Tankian is from System Of A Down
1:04 Actually, the Mongolian word for Human is Hun (pronounced Hoon), HU is the root word for Human and/or people, like the ancient Mongol tribe the Hunnu, or “People of the Steppes”.
You guys are so cute! Enjoyed watching you review this great song. I recently discovered The Hu and have enjoyed much of their music, especially this song.
I've seen Haelstorm and The Hu in concert, but not together. I would love to see this live. Your individual reactions were funny to me. I won't get into detail as to why. Feed Love! Starve hate. 🤘
Hi, did you know that Yannis Papadopoulos (male singer) made cover of Nightwish's song Ghost Love Score? The same version as Floor... You have to see that!
The produced mix had to severely lower the powerful resonance the throat singing produces which is awe inspiring in a live room. The live acoustic songs are amazing.
I'm not on Patreon, but I'd like to suggest AURORA's Runaway. This is a song she wrote at I believe 9 years old and really launched her career. Cheers!!!
LuLu, baby girl..... I'm going to suggest to you & your mother & Mema.... maybe listen to a tribal song from a "Pow-Wow" drum group!!! (Just to see if you would like that kind of music 🎶🎵)
wonder if its an accident or on purpose The Hu/The Who? maybee the Who was influenced by the tibetan word Hu but played around with it a bit? As always fun to watch u 3 gals
Lzzy wrote the English lyrics. From what I've heard , Lzzy's Mom cried when she heard this.

The lyrics are very beautiful, it really shows the importance of women. To men and to everyone. And the video is beautiful as well.

I really like their original version of this, as well. I play it on repeat when I want to bask in those rich tones.
The Legend of Mother Swan by The Hu is another amazing song. The lyric is very touching.

No the etymology of Human is the latin humanus.
@@AlexanderNash in Latin yes, but the root word for Human in Mongolian is Hu.

This is "Break In", a duet with Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee. My other favorite Lzzy Hale song.
