With the PET fermenter this apparatus will set the crown to at least the 10 liter king keg. Who really needs more than 5 liter beer at the moment? But the final beer machine isn't neither still developed nor available. So lets wait another 100 years. 🙂 The included PET bottle is the most interesting part. The machine itself isn't really needed without this bottle.
The supplied budvar keg top tap does not remove like shown in this video. You need a pair of longnose pliers to pull out the piece of plastic that is left once pulling the tap and then you need to punch through the plastic cap before you can push the spout in.
i had the same problem! used brute force to remove cap, now it feels as if theres no seal i mean there isnt?! p.s first time using, any time mate thanks for the longnose pliers tip ended up using ordinary ones
I’m really stuck with mine I have followed all the steps in this video and the ones on your website the mega fills with co2 but does not dispense beer just fires out down froth and then all the co2 and not one drop of beer comes out
You do realise the handle should be assembled onto the dip tube assembly before you put the dip tube into the keg, right? Surely you know how to use your own (rebranded Chinese) product?
There is so much bad instruction surrounding these. I need to know the proper set up on the dip tube as well ..proper direction and placement of the bungs etc
@@FrederickIngraham-yq4sz the video is completely wrong. The dip tube separates into two components and should be reassembled onto the carry handle for the keg before inserting into the keg. The handle is the retainer for the dip tube when the keg is pressurised. This video is the reason that people have had the dip tube blow out under pressure.

They should pull this video and start over showing the proper assembly of the dip tube and bungs placed in the keg

Does this work with standard 5L party kegs for us homebrewers? Or is it only for storebought kegs?

Right load of faffing about with this I'd sooner just pour it out normal out the 5 ltr keg and get a pd or blade machine with proper draught beer lol
Doesn't even show that you need to pierce the top of the keg, it's not just lift tab and insert pole

Turn down the CO2 after the initial charge - 1st half will be frothy but you can then adjust pressure to suit
