I love this car I’ve got a 2012 330D convertible, first bmw first time with rear wheel drive and couldn’t go back - this channel doesn’t get enough love great vids man
Great review, I have the same car and thinking of selling it but after that review it makes me think otherwise! Tbf mine is stage 1 tuned and straight piped so a little more fun!! Great vid tho 👍🏽
I have the same also, I have had it since 2016 and has a arachnid box on it so pushes 235bhp in race mode. Love the car and I can't justify selling it either. The one in the video looks like the previous owner spewed M logo and carbon fibre all over it and the wheels in black? Arnold Clarke used to have a sales video on this model, they claimed it was limited to 100 units only made. I asked BMW but never got a reply.
stop lying. recall for bad egr cooler, egr valve getting stuck, lots of air mass plausibilty errors, engine light on every other month, PCV box cracked because its plastic, PCV hose cracked because its plastic, back pressure pipe stuck full of soot, whirl flaps cracked in manifold, oil consumption 1liter / 2000km dude. just stop lying on the internet.
@@jaynet1539 Got a 09 316d, stage 1 with a dpf and egr delete currently at 210k miles. Original Chain, turbo, injectors. Had it for the last 30k Miles and it never let me down. Only money spent was on servicing every 6k and brakes. Maybe if you looked after your car, you wouldn't have so many issues :)
@@mssbed yes i sound like it. Its me. my fault. get real. They dont care about their customers or cars. half the car is plastic. wake up man. they had multiple recall actions with burning egr coolers, steering system everything life threatening issues. hyundai is better even Kia
@@alexberbenitskiy8569 how do you automatically KNOW! i didnt take care? it got everything each year. quality oil, all the maintenance and still it had 4 recalls and is burning oil. you know why?? because the first owner respected Official maintenance plan of 30.000km. thats why. next time you want to insult the drive for a piece of sheite plastic car think again
im looking to buy a 2007 version of this car with 330d 6 cyclinder engine, do you know if its reliable, and about the roof is there any signs to look out for on the roof for leaks and stuff
If you are still here The e90 series still have the m57 engine untill the very end up untill 2013 which is earth and sky difference compared to the N series Its a bullet proof engine and probably the best diesel engine bmw has ever made If you want pure reliability I would suggest the 325 which is a 3liter detuned still the m57, altough pre facelift (LCI) its a 2.5liter the 3l detuned is LCI
I have a 318i 2009 e90. Done a full engine rebuild on it worth £3,580 alone 11 months ago. New clutch and flywheel on top of that after the crankshaft snapped and took those out with it surprisingly. However, when I want to move to electric the garages quote me £1,000 max for it when it’s a car in beautiful condition. New pilot sport 4 tyres all around. seems a shame that garages just don’t care about that stuff. How would you recommend selling this To someone that would appreciate all that was done to it? Has a sporty exhaust too with a limo tint on the rear. Such a shame to let it go for £1,000.
N47 isn’t bad in the first place . They just require decent maintenance and care. I’ve seen original chains on almost 200k whilst working at a bmw specialist it’s all down to how the cars treated.
This channel is so underrated

Thanks! 330D is a fantastic car, can have a lot of fun with those.
im looking at one myself anything to look out for, and what is the reliablity like thanks
This is the best drive POV i have ever watched
I’ve had two 135i’s but my favourite car was my 2012 edition 320d coup. I really wish I kept that car. It was amazing
Owned mine for 2 and half years now, with a stage 1 remap and XHP gearbox map. Can't fault it!

Tom could you possibly review a SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa, MK2 Focus ST or an E9X M3?
Would love to do a e92 m3, just depends on whether we can get one or not.

Beautiful car. I’m hoping to get one myself soon.

Nobody wants an e90 318i or 320i. Shit engine and woefully underpowered.
Do you mind me asking how much you eventually sold this one for?
e93 its just delicious, anyway in UK. dont need convertible cars

@@ParagonCarsLondonthe m47 engines the one to go for not these n47 as they have timing chain issues
The 2012 has supposedly different uprated guides for the chain. But you still have to religiously change the oil every 5,000 miles to be safer.

It's not an original color, is it? Le Mans blue is darker. Montego blue?
Estoril i think
Very rare individual colour only available on very late e92 coupes.
what remap is on this car?
no remap, totally stock
What exactly is the color called?
estoril blue
