Is it worth doing SEO in 2025?

Everywhere I hear that SEO is dead. ChatGPT have been killing SEO. Google steals your web traffic. Only sites with strong backlink authority get web traffic. People have stopped using Google search and are using ChatGPT instead. Getting backlinks has become more difficult.
And so on, and so forth…
My main question is: Should I continue doing SEO in 2025 or not, and why?
