That strap is NOT the old one. It's brand new, you just re-sewed it. There's no way you can take stinky old leather that's been laying in rot-water in a ditch, with distinct wear marks on it, just _clean it_ and have it look crisp & brand new like that. Plus you scratched the hell out of the back trying to get it off (with a pair of tweezers) and there's no way it would be all crisp and shiny like that unless you rechromed the piece. It looks brand new. The glass is custom fitted, so is the plastic fitting inside it...I wonder how much of the original watch is even left. There were pieces you bent when removing them, like the hands and the tension clip, that were magically unbent when going back in. This wasn't a "restoration," it was just taking 2 watches of the same kind apart and only putting one...a new one...back together. 😒
It's a scam. That watchband isn't even the same pattern! LOL At 02:17 it's just flat on the black side and at 16:27 it's got a pattern on it. None of the other parts are the original watch either, it's total bullshit.
While cutting the watchband, you NEVER cut towards you, always away from you. One slip and you got bloody fingers and/or hands. Also, always wear gloves when you work.
