    That has always been one of my favorite solos form the first time I heard it many years ago. Thanks very much for breaking that down within the chords! I will learn that now the correct way!

    Thanks so much for the Robben Ford theory videos. I’ve always wanted to learn more of the theory behind his outside playing. Your videos are very helpful.

      This isn't really outside, it's actually the most inside you can get over that particular chord.

    Awesome flavor. Robben does like those types of sounds. The lick immediately sounds like him for sure.

    Great introduction to this sort of playing. Always loved the sound but never had the faintest idea how it happened. Thanks a lot Jack. Lessons are excellent.

    Robben is absolutely playing proof where you take your love of music and specifically guitar, learn all this great theory and emulate your favorite great players but develop your very own distinct and fantastic style!! Love Robben Ford and Jack Ruch!! Jack is like the voice of all of us striving to find the beat to our own drummer. Great job here once again, Jack........and I can tell you probably agree here with me..........please consider doing a nice study course on your fellow Truefire great artist and pioneer Robben Ford...........even if he does already have several great TrueFire courses out there!! Fantastic! 'Nothin' to Nobody' is one of my favorite Robben Ford tunes. He co-wrote the lyrics with Michael McDonald. Thank you so much for showing us the scales and underlying cords. Your instructional videos are first-rate 😃

    Good lesson thx Mr Rush …but could you explain why Lydian Don. On F7 chord ? Any others scale apply on it ? Many thx

    • @JackRuch
      @JackRuch  2 года назад

      Lydian Dominant is a good choice for non functioning dominant chord. But F mixolydian also works.

    Great lesson. I sometimes like to think using an arpeggio off the F7, a C minor with a Ma7 chord.
