I don’t usually comment on videos but boss you have a great channel and you content is gold. We really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. Best wishes to you and your team!
That's one of the most useful video I've watched for jazz rock music. Thanks ! However when you talk about E melodic minor, as I learnt it in classical music, E melodic minor has two forms which are ascendant (e f# g a b c# d# e) and descendant (e d c b a g f# e) and it has nothing to do with what you describe that starts with a scale with 4 tons in a raw (a b c# d#). That's the main problem I have with jazz modes because I hear the root note and I don't use the notes of a scale while creating modes, changing the order of them.
In jazz you only use the ascending form when describing melodic minor. The way you use it in this context is analysing the intervals of E melodic minor with A being the root note which give you 123#456b7
I can't tell you how much I enjoy these videos...I feel myself getting less ignorant just having them on in the background.
Bro, you have to practice the shit no way you're learning just leaving it on in the background lol
I love these vids. For minor pentatonic, I love adding harmonic minor embellishments. Especially on the resolution
I love these lessons, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge Dani!
Awesome vid as always! For me its easier to think about this scale as mixolydian with #4.
Awesome lesson, Dani. Thanks for creating and sharing it
Thanks for checking it out and commenting, Khalil.

This is a great way to get out of the scale run rut we can find ourselves in. Cheers 🍻
It's a hurdle we all must jump. Cheers indeed 🍝

Love lydian. But man, it sounds strange in blues. lol.
Blue note without the context of chromaticism.
