Wow this is such an awesome technology on the engine ! Answers my question why Gixxer 250 engine doesn't have fins though being just oil cooled and not liquid cooled. Underrated bike and engine that deserves more sales !
Only thing is slipper clutch is missing

My 2022 Gixxer 250 BS6 gives a highway mileage of 38-40 kmpl when ridden with a pillion on a straight highway at speeds between 80-90 kmph. However, when ridden alone in the same conditions, it gives a mileage of 44 kmpl. I am very happy that I went for a 250 cc engine instead of settling for a 155 cc engine.

@@Suzuki2Wheeleryou guys should have given slipper clutch assist and a smoother gearbox on it to make it a complete package! And mild gearing changes to cruise at 100kmph at 6000 rpm in the 6th gear!
Give this oil cooler tech 150 cc varaints too and tune it to make 16ps 15nm torque

If you would have given a glossy red colour both on new Gixxer 150 or 250, by the time I had purchased one. But you people don't understand customers. Don't you notice the dual tone beautiful colours on Yamaha R15.
And glossy red colour would have made it a beautiful looking sportsbike like DUCATI.
Buy a Ducati then bhikari! Its suzuki, they have their own paint scheme derived from their own big bikes!

never heard the oil cooling fan working even in deadlock traffic even in close monitoring to see if this is really functional,, wondering at which temperature this really does work !! !

This is absolute deal for me ,because liquid coolers have maintanance issues like coolant leak and worse,i.e mixing it with engine oil. For normal oil coolers seen in Bajaj and TVS , there's no fan,just wind is cooling the radiator. Here ,i think,they have given fan behind the cooler. My 160cc bajaj bike ,when i got struck in traffic for about 30-45 minute on a summer evening showed oil warning lamp because of heating. If there was fan for the radiator it may not be happening ,as the fan will assist cooling when no air flow by motion of bike. But it is sad that bajaj and tvs is not giving cooling fans for higher cc engines with oil cooling ( like n250 ,rtr 200 etc) ,but suzuki has only two bikes 160 and 250 ,no other options from suzuki as well. Hope others also will take oil cooling seriously 🥲

I have Suzuki Gixxer 250 & I have also done its first serve but it is giving me the mileage of 24 Kmpl , & I am facing the water leaking issue in bike meter & I am also facing the oil leakage issue from left side of front suspension fork ( I visited to the service centre they told me the fork oil leakage issue isn't cover in the warranty ) 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Suzuki bikes are good....but service what they provide is worst when you have engine issues which they can't even rectify...
In future I will prefer to buy any other brand over suzuki....horrible experience suzuki service centers

Honda and Yamaha are big market in here, Suzuki, Kawasaki, KTM, TVS, VIAR and so on is small market margin.
Honda and Yamaha service center are bad, they just told you for bought new part without solving the issue and have target reach profit in a month because they must paid the trademark royalties
So some owner bike just repair itself or service their bike on specialist motorbike workshop who know how to solve problem.
I think whatever brand are same poor after sales when take a big market in some region = poor mechanic and profit margin target.
I am buying this bike way better than r15 v3 ...... riding is very comfortable....n bike quality is damn premium...

Can poor quality oil or sluggish oil block the oil cooling channel? If yes, it could affect the performance as well as the life of engine with time
Yes you are right.
If your engine doesn't get proper cooling at high rpm pressure then engine became overheat, it can destroyed your engine caused by friction.
For best value oil I'am use high grade API Diesel engine oil with xW-40 or xW-50 for best heating treatment, diesel oil contain TBN to prevent and clean the slug in your engine.
@@claritoresdiano1021 Just get the periodical service done on time and don't rev it for longer periods. That being said, I've never faced any heating issues on 800+ km rides on highways either. Only thing that gave out was my butt. Pretty decently engineered motor.
Dont wait for company intervals and change the oil early! Thats the key to longer engine-vehicle life! Change oil at 60-70 percent of the company recommended interval! Change as per use as well! The more you abuse the engine, the earlier the oil wears off.. you can sense that from the engine sound and smoothness..

If yes that's same issue with Yamaha engine using roller rocker arm damaged by friction.
In video owner Yamaha NMAX just running the bike (Maxi matic bike) after 21.000 Kilometers then engine got issue, same problem to another yamaha engine are using roller rocker arm.
Yeahhh it's look very bad design or poor metal quality.
we need forged metal steel, we don't need poor casting metal steel.
I have gixxer 250sf faired version
Go for DOHC setup which will be more reliable and powerful, a little better brakes, and a little wider instrument console(or with the colored one like). Some additional would be aluminium swing arm and an aerodynamic windshield with obviously some more cost.
We need a little more rush from this machine. Go for it.

It's not the brakes that are bad per see, it's just that the bite is very linear. Just swap out your OEM master cylinder and get better brake lines, that should improve the bite.

Single exhaust pipe are better and more great TO LOOK AT.
I think only Suzuki Gixxer have this type of TWIN exhaust pipes.
Others motorcycles of companies like YAMAHA, KAWASAKI, HONDA HUSQVARNA, BAJAJ in India... they have only one exhaust pipe on them.

No coolant, it is oil cooled. Means engine oil does cooling also apart from lubrication.

@@gururaja9418 : get battery and fuse checked at the service center. It shouldn't happen. It generally starts in one touch.
@@gururaja9418 Yes. It is a problem. You only need to press the button once, no need to hold it. The starting system automatically cranks the engine till it starts, just like the push button start system on cars.

Yes
yep just like in Liquid Cooling.. when the engine is overheating, the fan will kicked in

Yes it has fan despite being oil cooled
It's purely oil cooled and therefore it does have a cooling fan. Actually it is very much similar to liquid cooling. Only difference is the fluid used.
Yup fan is there. Fan automatically starts rotating when engine gets too hot, as when in slow traffic.
Just change the front, headlight design.
Orang dinegaraku masih primitive, motor bagus dicibir habis habisan, padahal kagak beli, yang dijual suzuki motor enak dipake sehari hari dengan teknologi terbaru, malah jadi bahan gosip, kasian ni pabrikan, padahal desainya unik dari yang lain, dipake enak, yah malah dibandigkan dengan motor 2 silinder, malah dikatain ngak belajar sama kasus kawasaki 250sl, cbr 250 single silinder, padahal ni motor bawa teknologi terbaru, dan nyaman dipakai, beda sama 250 sl yang pegal, dan baru beli dah harus ganti lampu, ban dan cooling radiator ke yang lebih bagus, walau kipas berisik dan panas masih terasa, kan meding ini, hemat bbm pula 😌 38 km/liter, huh ngak ngerti deh.

Pillion seat is too short, Ladies can't seat so forcefully Yamaha 25 is the only choice i have despite i love Suzuki 250..
