Need a revised version of this bike. Here are few things that need to be improved. 1. Give this bike a slipper clutch. Or atleast make the clutch and gearbox smooth 2. Improve the brakes especially the rear ones. 3. Change the horn. Make it loud and clear. It sounds like a scooter. 4. Aluminum swingarm. not a box section. The Yamaha R15 has it. 5. A big visor. A very big one. Need wind protection for 130km per hour. These changes are very easy to make. 6. Built quality issues . The squeaky noise and rusting issues needs to be rectified . 7. Finally about service center and these guys don't know how to lub the chain and simple basic things. Availability of this 250 series bikes and service network is a pain. Why can't they allow the services for Suzuki bikes in Maruthi Suzuki Car service centers? Mahindra does something like this for their mojo bikes. Suzuki if you want a pie of the market share like honda , you need to listen to customer feedback. Hope they fix these issues.

As the proud owner as well a motogp fan of suzuki I would like to recommend that the place where suzuki lacks in motogp is top end speed and braking suzuki should work on it and am huge fan of 42ins.
I personally want Suzuki sell this bike in my country Bike for daily use with good design, great reliability and efficiency. Sadly most of their consumer at SEA countries already dictated that 250cc bike must have great performance, more than 1 cylinder, water cooling .etc Nice technical presentation tho.

Good but USD suspensions and slipper clutch is missing in 250sf...both these upgrades can improve its sell because overall 150sf ND 250 sf don't have much differences...
I love Suzuki but this time they made a big mistake which can be Littles loss for them that is suzuki decided to launch this bike in metro cities only, they have no idea about crazy young blood in normal cities, it's been almost a year I live in ratnagiri district which is 300 kms far from mumbai n still 250 cc gixxer they r not allowed to sell, every time when I call n ask they say we can deliver u the bike but our staff is not trained to service that 250cc bike so do u think anyone will purchase that bike from 300kms far from their home town. Remember Ratnagiri district consist of 9 talukas n if u guys don't care about ur customers plz let us know we can change our brand, because we have KTM n Honda, tvs, royal en field showrooms aswell where we can buy 250 to 500 cc bikes.And i am sure not only my place tere are many other places where this issues ur customers r facing.so plz do something or let us know so will shut the whole suzuki showrooms in our area because its useless if we cant buy a bike which we are interested.
Suzuki's service is the reason why people stays away from them. They can't even service the scooters properly. If more customers are complaining about a service center, they will suspend their franchise, instead of solving the issue, proper training and follow ups. 3 service centers already closed in my city and only 1 is left. That's why people stopped complaining about the service, because, if that also closed, we have to go to another district for service. Case1: I have one Access125, which i bought in 2021. During the 3rd free service they opened the engine head for valve adjustment and closed it without replacing the gasket. After one week the engine oil leak notice and when I checked the oil level, there was no oil in it. I brought the vehicle to the service center, after filling oil. When they checked, the engine oil went up to the throttle body. They just refused to accept that it is their fault and told it is manufacturing defect and will claim warranty. They replaced all the gasket and seals and charged me around Rs.1000 and told gaskets and seal are consumables, which won't be covered under warranty. Now the engine is consuming oil, because of the wear happened during that time. Case2: My brother owns a gixxer SF150. For each service they do some work and the part will fail. They cleaned Fuel Injector, after a week it failed. They did oil change for front forks, which was working fine, and it failed. Also he replaced the key switch 2 times and instrument cluster once, because the bike stops suddenly while running and fails to restart. Now he used to say the service technicians that don't do anything except oil change and washing.
No doubt it's an awesome bike judging by the looks and specs, but Suzuki should have made the 155 SF's design different than that of 250. People paying around 2 lakhs for 250 should expect flagship feeling in terms of looks as well.
Single cylinder and 4 valves. They are raving about the 'state of the art' oil cooling, when a 'normal' oil cool system would have been more than sufficient for such a low powered engine. And they don't even show RPM or power and torque figures on the graph. People care about the price of budget and starter bikes. They care about the handling, looks and power figures. Suzuki can't even hype its new 250 properly.
I bought susuki Gixxer SF 150 now the only problem I'm facing Everytime is because of the light. Since it's always on and very bright I get people who always shout at my light. It's not even their fault.
40k/L heats up but not much problem and it's made up of fiber... Headlight is too bright so sometimes it's problem for the riders coming in opposite direction. If you buy you should laminate it.. gets scratch easily.
Suzuki India please improve service of bikes and give attention to customer complaints related to service. I have one Access 125 and my brother has one Gixxer SF 150 and we had really bad service experience from service centers. The technicians seems unskilled and untrained, at such a level that, whenever they do some work, a new problem comes or that part gets damaged. Bad service is the reason why i'm (also many people) skeptical about buying another Suzuki bike.
To whomsoever it may concern, Kindly provide a proper Windscreen for Gixxer 250. The stock visor is useless when it comes to riding the bike and it also kills that big bike look that would have been there if a big windscreen was there.
It would be nice if this naked version of gixxer 250 sf enter Indonesia if the following requirements can be met: 1. No ABS. 2. Complete Knock Down. 3. The promotion price is 38-39 million rupiah and the normal price is between 40.5-41.2 million rupiah. 4. Some adjustments to reduce wet weight. 5. It is better if a naked model entering Indonesia imitates or resembles the shape or model of sv650. I am pretty sure that if it is done, Suzuki will be able to fill the temporary gap for the 250cc class in Indonesia with the right price of the goods offered.

Depends on heat produced. Oil cooling works fine as long as engine temperature remains below 300°C and doesn't lose thickness (viscosity) too much. This engine has redline at 10,000 rpm with compression ratio of 10.7, so works just fine with oil cooling. Liquid cooling will be more effective but will add weight and cost. Another example is Yamaha R15 which has liquid cooling on just 155cc engine, because it has higher compression ratio of 11.2 and can redline till 11500 resulting in more heat at higher rpm.
I must say it's a Good Job done.. Definitely I will test drive once it arrives at showrooms. But one suggestion.. people like agressive looks and sporty paint job . Please do look into that.

Gixxer SF250 price should be 1.50 ex-showroom. & why the hell on earth Gixxer SF155 power got lowered & the weight just increased ? I was thinking to buy Gixxer SF155 & after seeing the spec sheet, its just 14.1 bhp 😒 & it's heavier than R15V3 & the upcoming RC125☹️ & it kinda disappointed me.
All good but, the engine is sickeningly smooth, could have made the engine beats a little more bassier and more feelable. The seating position is just right.

GSXR250 will cost 3.5-4 lakh ex showroom. It is 2 cylinder but produces only 26 PS max power with 178Kg weight. Will you or anyone in India buy it?

The Indian exclusive 150cc Gixxer isn't liquid cooled . That's the one I ride..

This new engine is close to bs6 compliant. So there will be reduce in power.
